Ther had traveled long and hard to arrive here in Avaren. The old smith had told him that after he'd passed on that Ther was to sell the smithy and take the tools of his trade to this large city. They had the need of good smith's and that with Ther's ability to craft such fine weapons and shields he'd be able to make his fortune there. Three months ago Smith had passed beyond this realm and that is just what Ther had done, he'd packed up all the tools, even the anvil, sold the shop and come here. He now sought a shop he could buy so that he could start being a smith again.
He found an old run down smith, it seemed to be in a good location, but it cost him nearly everything he had... he'd saved some of his money for expenses and anything left of the purchase price he'd pay monthly. There were some repairs he had to make but soon the shop was ready. Lighting the forge up and ensuring it's hot and safe He hangs a sign outside the shop that says in large Silver letters "The Corner Smith" and in smaller letters, "Worker of Iron and Steel." People had already come to him for repairs to many items, ranging from iron pots and pans to horse shoes and he sets about bringing heat to metal and the ringing of his hammer can be heard as he sets to work. He knew word of his weapons display would travel about bringing him other types of business, for now he bent his head to the task at hand and his fine craftsmanship was soon talked about around the market.
