Kaldaka's hand stopped Kelwindre's as her other hand brought out a small bag. "This is a gift, Kel," she said softly as she removed her hand. Taking out a few very odd gold coins, she handed them to Brend. "Now, do you want throwing knives now or do you want to wait till later?" she said as Brend placed the dagger in it's sheath and handed it to Kelwindre. "Because either one works for me."

"I should probably wait," Kelwindre said, taking the dagger carefully into her own hand. "I have enough on my plate as it is without having to learn a new weapon, although I'm sure I'll get around to throwing knives, and probably sooner rather than later." Reaching down to her belt, she started to attach the dagger to her right side, which would allow her to cross-draw both her dagger and sword, at least when she got her sword it would. "Thank you," Kelwindre said as she firmly secured the dagger to her side. "I owe you for all of this."

Kaldaka smiled at Kelwindre. "You are never beholden to me, Kel. I never make debtors. If I give something to someone, I give it to them, and I expect nothing in return." She returned her money bag to it's place where no thief could get it. "Good-bye, Brend, I'll be seeing you. I might need some more daggers sometime soon." With a laugh and a final wave she strode out of the room with Kelwindre behind her. Stopping, she said, "So, anywhere else, or is it home and food now?"

Kelwindre smiled an excited and happy smile. "Home and food sounds nice," she said, and although she knew that no place in this city would quite feel like home, at least not yet, she still understood that it was the best she was going to get in the way of hospitality; and, if her current experiences were any indication, Tash'ma would do everything she could to make Kelwindre comfortable.
As the two walked, Kelwindre started to run through some things she could ask to make the time fly. She finally came up with one. "Have you ever met the king?" she asked, wondering if she had, and if so, what the man was like.

"I've seen the King, but 'twas only for a short time at the feast before he left. I've heard we're to have a new ruler, though who it is is still a mystery. And it isn't really know whether we will or not!" She chuckled slightly. "Ah, here we are!" She gazed fondly at a small cottage set off to the side of the road, a small garden around it, with the sound of a small stream chuckling away audible. 00C: Moving over to House of the Dunadan (Kelwindre)
