David saw Hawkes movements. Swift and agile. It was as if Hawkes was able to forsee David's attacks. At least that's what he thought. This wasn't a total surprise to him. There had been times when he, himself had been in Hawkes position. He applauded this. "Or does it." he replied quietly. He stopped for a moment and went for a well aimed thrust with side slash follow through.

When David stopped Hawkes quickly opened his eyes to see David thurst. He moved quickly to his right but then the side swap came and Hawkes was not ready for it. He quickly dropped down and braced himself with his left arm while he held up his sword with his right. "If you ever want to find out how to fight randomness hit me up." Hawkes smirked and held his sword with all of his might.

"I'm not really into randomness." David replied with a smerk. He pulled his spear back and jumped back as well. He then started charging at Hawkes. He started twirling the end of his spear with a combination of thrusts. It would have looked like a vortex of some kind.

Hawkes felt the relief when David jumped back and released pressure from his sword. "Randomness comes in handy sometimes when..." Hawkes suddenly saw the vortex of hell coming at him with David behind it. This should be fun... Hawkes thought. Hawkes started to prepare himself and when David was close enough Hawkes stuck his legs out and pushed the opposite way.

It was a quick movement. David stumbled slightly but regained his footing in a matter of seconds. He turned around and had his spear head at Hawkes' throat. It wasn't easy but he had put his opponent in a dire situation. He took his spear back after a few minutes and leaned on it. He smiled at Hawkes as he tried to catch his breathe.

Hawkes looked down at the spear point at his throat. He then smirked and waited until David moved back and then he spoke up. "You might have killed me but you would have remembered me." Hawkes then nodded his head down toward his sword at David's knee. He then got up and leaned back on the ramparts. "That was fun."

"Yeah, it was fun." David replied, "Please, excuse me, I need to go somewhere else to rest." He then put his spear away. He looked around into the sky. He saw a raven. It was odd though or least he thought. He then made his way down into the city streets.

"Later David." Hawkes go up and sheathed his sword. He bowed to the others that were around and then jumped off and was out of sight.

The raven flew off. She had a very good idea of their skills and weaknesses now.
