Lost, but Seeking

[Guinevere Viperatus]

"Sure... I really need some sleep." she said with a yawn. She gathered her weapons and waved bye to a few friends of hers before returning to David. "Okay... time for me to go home and sleep."

[David Augustine]

He nodded his head and started walking towards the exit of the barracks. He opened the door and allowed her to pass him before he exited himself. "You first, my lady." he said with bow.

[Guinevere Viperatus]

"Thanks..." she said with yet another yawn. After she had walked out, she whistled and a white stallion rode up. "good boy Akin..." she said mounting him and leaning against him as she almost fell off.

[David Augustine]

He closed the door behind him and looked up upon Guinevere. He grabbed ahold of the reigns of the horse. He stroked it a few times, but then started guiding toward her house once again. It was dark out now and lights illuminated from the windows of buildings and houses.

Supriasingly, Guin was fast asleep against Akin's neck. She turned her head to the other side and hugged Akin's neck tightly.

[David Augustine]

David turned his head back about to speak to Guinevere, but stopped when he saw she was asleep. She looked like she was at peace when she was sleeping. He turned facing forward again and continued guiding Akin in the dark.

She continued to sleep, resting against the foft akin. She brought her cloak up from behind her and pulled it over her shoulders.

[David Augustine]

He reached the gate of the manor. He laid a hand on Guinevere. "You're home." he told her as he tried to wake her.

[Guinevere Viperatus]

"Oh...thanks." she said softly as she woke up. She dismounted Akin and took hold of his reins. "I'll see you later...." she said with a smile.

[David Augustine]

"The same to you." he replied, "Good night and good dreams." He then turned and started on his way to the barracks. He was going to stay there for the night, it seemed.

[Kaldaka/Traveller]

As Kaldaka entered the barracks late that night, she saw a young man just entering too, a sword sheathed by his side. Approaching him, she said happily, "A lovely night, is it not? Would you like to spar, or are you tired?" She hoped that he would like to spar. It had been quite a bit since she had tested her skill against others, considering the fact that she slept mostly during the day, often only coming out during the night.

[Riley Lambert]

Riley entered silently, having no intention of going home this late. His father always hated him when he would prefer to be up at all hours of the day, but the night was his favorite time. As he walked he heard voices, a woman and a man's(I know you never spoke, but yea). He silently followed and walked back into the Barracks. He bowed his head and smiled.

"Good evening".

[David Augustine]

David looked at this young women. "Yes, tonight is a lovely night." he replied to her, "And I except your spar. I haven't done so in a while and it would be against my code if I declined it." He then walked over to his position. His white armor glowed in the fire's light. He drew his sword, The Lightbringer, and got ready. He gave it a few slashes to get the feel of it again. His blade also glowed in the fire light, just as his armor did. "Whenever you are ready, we may begin."

[Kaldaka/Traveller]

Kaldaka grinned happily. Her eyes were wide, finding all the light they could in the dimness of the night. Noting the name carved on his sword's handle, 'the Lightbringer,' she said, "Well, that's a fit opponent for my sword." Bringing her sword out of her sheath, she made a few moves with it. She called out "Hello!" over her shoulder to Riley and then brought her up in front of her face for a moment. A graceful, curving script covered the other side, reading to those who knew it, 'The power of the night surpasses all.' The blade itself was of some dark metal that seemed to capture light. Placing herself in the normal guard position, she said sharply, "Prepare to defend yourself." With that she brought her against his with a clash, trying to push it down and around.

[David Augustine]

His blade caught his almost in surprise. This sword seemed to devour the light and expose darkness. It seemed to be the opposite of his sword. "I will defend myself, and hopefully you will do the same." he told her. David then pushed Kaldaka's blade upward and away. He then hopped back a few steps and charged at her. He then wound back his own blade and went for a diagonal slash from the lower right going to the upper left.
