Laura took a deep breath and entered the warrior's training grounds. She was scared, yes, but brave hearts always fear what destiny lies ahead of them. She was dressed in her second-hand amour, with long boots and a metallic skirt, with a short top and leather gloves. Her bag full of arrows was swung loosely on her shoulder and her sword was dangling and playfully hitting her thigh. Her bow was, of course, in her hand. It was made by her own hand and it was perfectly balanced. It was simply a pleasure to hold it. She sighed, looking around. She had already signed in the last day, but the camp hadn't lost its greatness. It still amazed her how the warriors were fighting, how the masters danced with their swords, how everybody seemed so... so... surreal. She kept looking around for a partner.

Hawkes saw a new person stride onto the grounds. Hawkes was leaning against the wall sharpening his sword when he noticed she did not have a partner.
"Oi, you there. Do you need a partner to sparr with?" Hawkes had a heroic ring in his voice.

Laura turned around at the voice and smiled inwardly. Finally someone to fight with. "Want to offer?" She answered, her sword already in hand. She wasn't as good with the sword as with the bow, but she felt lucky today. You know what they say about starter's luck; maybe, just maybe she had some of that luck.
