She gasped. The candles floated, lighting up the chapel in a graceful and holy brilliance. She walked, sofly over the threshold, her feet making an echoy sound on the polished floor. She had come here for all the reasons she lived, and went out into the sun. To seek. Something was hidden in here. A secret. A key. Something that did not belong. And Saphira wanted it. She continued towards the alter.

Persephone returned to the chapel. She'd found herself drawn more and more these days, and she wasn't quite certan why. Maybe she missed the comfort of her family, and her small cottage was empty without them. Maybe she came with the hope that she would find something she'd lost, and maybe she came with the glimmer of belonging. Maybe not.
As Persephone entered she saw some one else there, and the small girl's eyes grew wide. The dark green depths scanned the other woman, and she frowned, her silvery brows drawing together. Something wasn't right about the way she walked up to the alter.
Persephone stood still for a moment and then shadowed the woman. She was no theif, but growing up in the country had taught her enough about hiding and being quiet. And then she stepped out of the shadows.
"Welcome to the chapel," Persephone said in a midnight voice.

Saphira started, cursed under her breath and whipped around. It was another girl-though girl hardly described this individual. She seemed too....An old wise women trapped inside a girl's body. But the eyes said it all. As she took in every detail of this stranger with a practiced eye, she continued to back towards the alter. The resonance of magic on the 7th place was callling like a foghorn, loud and clear. Her whole body seemed to vibrate along with tis resonating melody.

Persephone could sense it, could feel it. The woman was taken off her guard, and for whatever reason was surging the magic inside her. She could feel it building, and she wondered if the other would unleash it.
Still the woman backed away, and Persephone took one step forward. Her ancient eyes bore into the others almost as if she was reading everything in the other's mind. She couldn't but she could read the emotions floating to the surface.
"This is a sacred place. You shouldn't defile it."
Her midnight voice was cold as death itself.

Saphira gave a laugh. It sent shivers up one's spine and not a pleasant sound. She smiled, though the smile did not have any happiness in it. "Defile? I do not defile any place." IN truth, she wasn't. Not really. Once again, she felt the goldness of the slim chain belt around her waist, tucked under her shirt and cloak. 7 empty spaces to be filled. She heard there was such an stone in this chapel. And she could feel it-its resonation of magic ringing in her ears. She was sensitive for such objects. She continued towards the alter. She...was...nearly....there......

"Freezudo."
Persephone didn't need to yell the spell, but just said it under her breath. The woman had said she wasn't her to defile the chapel, but why was she here then? The way she rubbed her hand over something made the five foot Persephone wonder if she'd come for something, but she wasn't sure. Once she'd found out what she was here for, she'd let her go on with her business, or she'd put up on heck of a fight.

Saphira froze against her will. It was a simple binding spell and her feet was rooted to the ground, a cold sensation creeping up her fingertips. She could still feel the gems, pulsating, ignoring the spell completely. She cursed under her breath. She should have taken wards, should have put spells around herself-but no matter. Should haves don't help in the least. She started to search through her list of spells and chose one. Muttering (ooc: I will look it up in the Latin Dictionary and edit this) and at once, she could move. Events happened quickly. Turning, her cloak sweeping around her ankles, she made a nod to the alter and ran lithely across it. The humming was louder in her mind, pulsating through her very essence. Yes! It was very near...so...very near...
Backtrack. She was looking for a room that was hidden in hte Chapel itself. (ooc: my creation...hehe...) A room called by many names. But commonly known as the Chamber of Sin. Books were written about this mysterious chamber but Saphira found...one. The door was invisible to all that were holy. She just hoped she- Her thoughts were interruped as all sounds were shut off as if someone closed an door on the world. The chapel alter disppeared-and back at the alter, so did Saphira.

(ooc: ok...plot outline. I'm not sure how it should go, but here it is. Saphira has this 'hobby' thing that she collects precious and magically powerful gems/crystals whatever. she has a silver belt in which the ges are set. She has her heart set on the one that is hidden int he chapel. She yes, she is stealing...sort of. Anyway, the room of sin, its like, it makes you feel guilty, says all the wrong you have done, etc. and anyway, Saphira finds her brother. or maybe not. I DONT KNOW> anyway. its either she GETs the gold diamond or she DOESNT. ??)
