She chuckled softly and slid her fingers through her hair, "A battle worth fighting, is worth fighting well." She leaned up and leaned toward where he was, watching him think, he was interesting, most men of light had fled her company by now.

"Yes, I always enjoy a good fight." David replied casually, "You see towards the left a little bit you can make the outline of a dragon with it's head arched back ready to strike with it's wings spread wide open." He did his best to trace the dragon for her trying to show it. "Then two the right, the phoenix. The wings spread out and talons bared. It's flaming body diving toward the dragon." He then traced out the phoenix. "Most people don't understand why this fight would last forever. They usually believe that the phoenix would eventually conquer and win, but that isn't the case at all. The phoenix will continue to be reborn after every defeat from the dragon. The dragon has an extremely long life span however. So when the dragon is old and finally defeated another younger dragon takes it's place. Thus keeping the loop going."

"Mmm goes along with everything else in the circle of life, good and evil and such. But those lines are so blurred now..." She smirked and looked over at him, wondering why he felt the need to explain these things, interesting as they were, it still amused her.

"That is very true." David replied to her, "Most people don't know the difference between evil and good. They live inbetween. Even the holiest of men these days seem to be commiting the same sins they teach against. But sometimes something rises that is truly evil and people recognize it. It's usually a force that threatens their very existance. And they oppose it remembering and standing for what is good. Sometimes, even the darkest individuals decide to step into the light at those moments."

She smirked softly, "Light and Darkness...I choose Darkness over all, for it chose me." That had been a very true statement, it had chosen her, but why...well no one knew, not even her. She blew across her wrist softly and the darkness swirled around her skin, she was devoured by it, inside out.

"Here is a question, that I think only you could answer." David replied, "Do you fear to mingle with those of the light?" He wondered what her reply would be. She was staying around him and seemed to be more interested in him than he thought. He truly asked this question to this out. He respected her choice and her power. He didn't question the fact that darkness chose her. It's been well known that both sides of light and darkness chose certain individuals. These individuals though would become a complete part of that side. Light seemed to have chosen his family as it was traced so long in it's history.

"Fear? No, I chose not to mingle with them, out of the fact I have better things to do then clash with every single person I meet. As far as fear goes, I honestly don't know what I fear." She hadn't thought about fear in years, since she was a child and had feared the dark then...She glanced at him, "And do you fear mingling with those of the darkness?" The obiouse answer was no he didn't fear it since he was still talking to her.

"No, I don't fear the dark." David replied, "I fear the day of when there is no light, but even when that day is thought to come there will be a shread of light still there." He looked at her and into her eyes. He saw the darkness that showed within them. It were like his, but the opposite. His showed a calm fury of righteousness. He found great intrest in her. It was like if she was his complete opposite in almost every way. He never knew that someone like her could possibly exist.

She smirks softly, "Are you telling me, that their aren't others around here who are in darkness?" She had traveled far and wide and had too failed to find anyone...who was shrouded in the darkness like herself.

"I have ran into a few that were shrouded in darkness." David told her, "But none have never let it manifested within themselves. None as deep as you. I guess that's why I find you attractive. Despite the different sides that we are on and our opinions about light and darkness. I find you very attractive." He knew what he was saying. He didn't think she found him attractive as he found her. Or at least he thought she wouldn't admit such a thing.

She smirked, everyone found her as such, she was always lavished and wanted by men, it was something she was use to and enjoyed. She licked her lips and glanced over at him, "I find you interesting, willing to keep company with a dark being. Not many with your...light, would do such a thing."

"It's because most fear the dark." David replied, "Paladins mostly. They fear that they would become tainted by the darkness and that it would consume them. That's what makes them weak. That is why I am different. I decided to break the tradition of being a paladin as my fathers before me." He was quiet surpised at the fact that she found intrest in him. He knew of what she spoke was true and he certainly wasn't like those before him. "Those of the light that fear the dark are not as part of the light as they think."

"Mmm very true and it makes it easy to consume them when they aren't even sure of themselves." She lifted her legs to her chest and moved so she could better look at him, the light was in him, it had not consumed him as of yet but it would soon enough but nor was he shaky in where he stood, she met few like that, light and darkness alike, she found that quite interesting indeed. And she usually wasn't one to be so interested in one that was so unlike her in almost everyway there was.

David noticed her observing him. He didn't say anything for the moment. He looked back at her. His eyes locked onto hers. He wondered what she was thinking behind that gaze of hers. What she was hiding. He didn't think much of it though. He looked back up at the sky and thought about somethings. "So tell me, fair lady of the dark." he started, "What do you get out of being shrouded in total darkness?" It was curiosty of his. As far as he could tell, the difference between one that was fully enveloped in light and one that was filled with complete darkness was only what they stood for.

"Power and protection." She lifted herself up and pushed off the tombstone and hit the ground without making a sound, she moved across the ground with such a grace, it seemed unreal. She moved to the center of the graves he had been at and kneeled down and studied them...she had never took the time before to read the information before.
