Tidus walked up to gates of the City of Avaren. He stops in front of teh gates after his 3 day hike from the mountains north of the city. He stands there until the gate master yells from the the top of the wall " what is your buisness here warrior" Tidus looked up and said "I' am here on the kings orders to come and join the army here." The gate master nodded and opened the gate. Tidus looked into the city, he wlaked into the city and set off for the town square.

The sky was blue. The leaves were green. The sun was as warm as a baked potato. It was most definitely a beautiful day for lying on your back and doing absolutely nothing at all... Which is exactly what Vermillion was trying to do. The only thing bothering him was the fact that his hands had been cuffed together and he was being pulled down the street just behind a person dressed entirely in red, very much like himself, however instead of being chained up this person was arriving to the city of his own free will.
"Well, hello there, what ever could possess someone to ever want to join the military? To put it simply, what have they got on you? Are they blackmailing you? paying you off? holding your family? brainwashing you? What is it, take your pick," this spurt of comments against both the military here and against this random gentleman caused the hilt of a sword to be firmly planted into his chest.
"Quiet up yeh no good vermin, if I had it my way we would skip this here," the guard holding Vermillion indicated, with a nod, the direction of the dungeon, "and spear yeh right here on the street where yeh stand. But I have to take yeh into there so they can put yeh on trial and such. The laws gone soft, but if I catch yeh talking out of line again I won't be."

She had been riding all night, cloaked in black. Her possesions were mostly being sent to the city via some servants save for her most precious things. THe distant gates came into view and she slowed to a leisurely canter. She rubbed Nathaniel's flanks for a brief moment and muttered, "Nearly there, nearly there boy." THere was light up at the gates, though hardly recognisable in the daylight. It was warm and Saphira looked like an ill person in the daylight, with her tranlucent skin and her peculier large and slanted eyes. She came up to the gates, slowing Nathaniel to a trot and noticed a man, clothed in red and the most peculier conversation.
