An odd state

Viktor walked bruquely past him to his steed. Penelope was already waiting for him. He boosted her onto the horse, then looked back to the boy.

"Thirteen years ago wasn't it? Morytania. A great victory. High ground, lad, that's all it is to me. As for your parents, I think I may remember them. They didn't scream, I'll assure you that."

Viktor stuck a boot into a stirrup and hoisted himself onto the horse.

penelope slips off the horse and looks at him: i am not leaving in my night gown, you must be mad, and you didnt answer my question :she crosses her arms across her chest and looked at him:

Marim then shouted,"MELAMADO,"as his pet monkey jumped on his shoulder. Marim started running very fast and jumping high. The 19 year old lad had got the agileness of the monkey and since he had lived in a forest for most his life. He was very quick, as he got in front of Delacro's horse.

Marim said, looking angrily at Delacro,"We'll meet soon Delacro. Perhaps I'll bring my siblings along just to show you we aren't dead yet. Revenge is sweet, Delacro and I will taste it soon."

penelope places a hand on the horse neck and looks to the boy: go before anything happens

"Who are you girl? And why do you support this man? I cannot harm him anyways I admit. He is too strong for a young one like me," said Marim.

It took a force of will not to reach for his sword and finish this impudent boy here and now.

"You needn't bring much with you, Penelope. There is a fine wardrobe left by the last Lady of the Citadel, the one who owned it before I took it. You'll find she had very fine taste. She was a vampire elder after all."

Viktor kept a hand on the reins to hold down his own bloodlust.

Marim smiles back,"It is sad to see such a nice girl go to waste. His apprentice! Why I am quite surprised. But I must go now."

Marim runs quickly jumps into the air and stops before the gate, stares at Delacro and mutters,"One day, Delacro, one day......" He stands there and thinks about his parents whom he could never remember.
