Inconcievable Fruit

Evee turned her head and looked over at Marim who had just given her a ray of hope. "You really think so? I'm not wasting my time on this? Wow...I hope this is true, it would be a great dissappointment if it wasn't meant to be..."

As sad as those last words sounded, Evee was glowing inside. "Marim, I ask you a favor, please tell Maril everything that you just told me. I really need him to know these things. This is the biggest piece of information I've gotten from anyone." She pleaded. she kept walking along side him awaiting his most anticipated answer.

"Yes. Sure. I'll tell him of course....if I can find him. He's only at the cave at really odd hours. I'm not really at the cave at all. I don't sleep. And I'm quite used to it,"said Marim.

"So what is this I carry? What kind of fruit is it? I haven't got a clue when your telling me about fruits. And I still wonder why I chose the monkey if I can't understand fruit!"said Marim cheerfully.

Evee giggled at his misunderstandings with fruit. "Well, these fruits are very special. Very rare too. My mother used to use them for all special purposes. For instance, when I got my chicken pox, She made some kind of warm drink from this fruits' juices. And within hours they went away and I was as perky as a pickle." She said with a smile, "The fruit is called 'sephacottus' I've no idea why but the name's as strange as the triangular shape and colors of it."

Evee was comfortable telling Marim about her mother's family remedies, she knew that she could trust him not to spread the buzz around to the towns people. Besides, she owed him big time for the bit of info he told her.
