Riley walked slowly down towards the lake, Guinevere beside him as they had taken to walking from the King's Court after he had addressed the kingdom. His smile was plastered upon his face, just as it was while they were walking. He looked to see the lake, the sun beginning to set on the water. He looked to Guinevere and smiled alittle wider.
"Interesting setting in my opinion, and perfect timing".

She smiled before she spoke, her eyes looking at the sunset then to Riley.
"Very..." she said softly. "I love watching the sunset at the lake as well as in my garden."

"Then shall we sit and watch it, letting the stars claim its time for night?"

Riley nodded and walked with her to the water's edge before sitting down and looking out at the water, letting Guin sit where ever she wished.

Guin smiled and laid down beside him on her stomach, propping up her head with her arms.

Riley looked at Guin and chuckled alittle. He Leaned forward and Laid down on his stomache, next to to Guin.
"is this better?"

She nodded with a smile and smoothed out her dress, looking back over at him with a smile.

He chuckled and continued to smile. He watched to water, watching the sun set and feeling a complete peace come over him. He reached his hand to one of Guin's taking her hand in his and holding it lovingly.

She linked her fingers through his and smiled. Her eyes reflected the sunset they were so dark now.

Riley smiled and watched the water, humming softly.
"Night-time sharpens,
heightens each sensation . . .
Darkness stirs and
wakes imagination . . .
Silently the senses
abandon their defences . . .
Slowly, gently
night unfurls its splendour . . .

tremulous and tender . . .

from the garish light of day,
