Shadows arrival

[Shadow Star]

*Shadow walked through the entrance looking down at the ground. He had his battle axe in his hand resting on his one shoulder. He looked up and glanced around. He walked to the side and leaned against the wall waiting for hawkes.*

[Hawkes Star]

Hawkes got a letter from his brother stating that he was coming into Avaren to stay with him for awhile. Hawkes had not seen Shadow for the longest time since he choose to leave without a single word to anyone. Hawkes ventured forth in the Grand Entrance to find his beast of a brother when he spotted him leaning against a wall. Hawkes walked up next to him and quietly spoke..."Long time no see brother."

[Shadow Star]

Shadow turned and smiled at him. "hey brother, yea reall long time isn't it?".. shadow stuck out on of his monstrous hands for hawkes to shake. He had to look down on him but he still had the utmost respect for him. "is there any work here that a big brute like me can do?"

[Hawkes Star]

Hawkes reached up with his gloved hand and shook his brothers massive one. He had to look up to his brother in reality but had respected his brother just like he respected himself. "I am as new as you are Shadow. I am just trying to make a name for myself let alone help others out with their problems." Hawkes had a herotic sound to his voice but it did have a hint of evil in it.

[Shadow Star]

"Alright then. We will have to look another time. Anyone around here give you any trouble yet? I've been looking for a fight." Shadow looked up and around at the other people. He let his massive axe fall to the ground and cracked his knuckles. His voice was deep and never changed. His deep voice showed how evil he could be whenever he wanted to be.

[Hawkes Star]

"No Shadow. I have not had any problems yet. Even if I did don't you think I could take care of it." Hawkes pointed back to his sword hilt which shown through the back of his cloak. "Just calm down Shadow. In due time you will be able to show off your might but not know. How was your travel?"

[Shadow Star]

Shadow let a long breath escape his lips and shook his head. "My trip was horrible. I hit a couple rough parts with the weather. I wasnt even bothered by and bandits." Shadow shrugged his shoulders and pointed to Hawkes sword. "You still have that sword? Thats a couple years now that you have had that sword. When are you going to give that thing up and buy a better one?"

[Hawkes Star]

"That was a bad trip brother." Hawkes shook his head with a small grin on his face. Hawkes unsheathed his blade and rubbed its edge with his thumb. "Shadow you know I could never get rid of this blade. It is the only thing I have to family besides you. I am suprised you still practice the art form of axe." Hawkes touched Shadows axe with blade and slid it up and down.

[Shadow Star]

"Oh come on now. You know that the axe is the only thing suited for me. Its might is unmatched." He picked up his axe and twirled it effortlessly in his hands. "Anyway i tried the sword. I'm to slow with it. I can't move this body that fast so i may as well stick to my strength with this." He held it out to the side with one hand and the sun reflected off the heavily notched head.

[Hawkes Star]

"To each his own Shadow...to each his own." Hawkes laughed because he knew that Shadow was slow but he was very powerful. He was one of the best fighters he ever saw besides himself. "So Shadow....you know I could probably beat you with my sword."

[Shadow Star]

"Yea no kidding. But i would destroy some of these walls in the process of the fight. Your to fast with that for me. I go after the slow stronger ones, you know that." Shadow smiled and laughed out loud. He pounded a closed fist on the wall and a hollow sound came from it. He knew he didn't stand a chance against Hawkes and avoided all conflict with him.

[Hawkes Star]

"Yes Shadow...I think you would destory these walls if we were to fight. I would never fight you though." Hawkes knew that he would wreck Shadow but he had to much respect for him. "Shadow you really do need to get faster though."

[Shadow Star]

"Been trying to do that. This body is to big though. I always get off balance while moving at that speed." He sighed and rubbed his shaved head. "So what have you been up to around here. I know you haven't been here long but you have to have found some stuff out about this place."

[Hawkes Star]

"Shadow...that is no excuse. Just slim down more." Hawkes just shook his head knowing that Shadow did not care. "This town is ran by some King. There are mages and warriors that live here and I have become a warrior. Some other things go on here but that is all I have uncovered so far."

[Shadow Star]

"Alright then. We'll just have to start up again." He laughed out loud and clapped Hawkes on the shoulder. "So how ya been i haven't seen you in forever. You still haven't grown at all." He looked down at him and laughed again. "Dont' take that as an insult now i just think you should be a little bigger."
