Sitting and looking at the lake

[Cloud Strife]

Cloud walked down. His eye looked at the sparkling water. He smiled and sat down by the water.

He laid his back and looked at the sky.He smiled once more."What a nice day." he said looking to the side.

"It would be better if someone was here to or someone to talk to." he said sitting back up. He placed his hands over him head.

[Persephone DeVone]

Persephone had come down to the Lake to relax. She'd been cooped up in studies all day, and she just wanted to get away from the feeling of being boxed in. Not that she didn't want company though. She would enjoy having someone to talk to on a day like this.

As she approached the Lake, she saw a man sitting there. She heard him talk, and smiled to herself. It seemed like he didn't mind the company either, so she took a seat beside him.

"It's beautiful, don't you think?"

Her large green eyes looked at him smiling.

[Cloud Strife]

"That it is."
He said looking at her and smiled. His blue his glowed.
"My name is Cloud Strife."
He said looking back at the lake. He loved to look at the lake. He keep his eyes on the lake.The water moving from a light brezz. His blond hair moved with the light brezz. He closed his eyes as the brezz hit his face.

[Persephone DeVone]

"Pleasure to meet you Cloud Strife. I'm Persephone DeVone, but most people call me Sephe."

She took looked at the lake, and her long silver blonde hair blew innocently in the soft wind. It carressed her face, and brushed against Cloud in it's lenght. She pulled it back from her face, but the wind still blew it around her back.

Her concentration was on the serenity of the Lake. It was just so calming and peaceful, and she couldn't resist watching it.

[Cloud Strife]

"I love coming and looking at the lake..It is so peacefull and calming." He said looking at the lake.
"And you can meet so many nice people." He saild looking at her. HE then smiled to with his eyes closed.

[Persephone DeVone]

Persephone returned the smile with her own. It reminded people of summer days, and clear skys. Her eyes were still a lit with the happiness of the lake and calming it instilled.

"You're right. It's pretty calming, and there's nothing quite like it around here. At least, not that I've found."

[Cloud Strife]

"I have only be here and at the mont.And so far I like this place." he said looked back at the lake.

[Persephone DeVone]

"Agreed. This place is probably my favorite in the city. It's the only place that reminds me of the country."

She looked at Cloud and wondered if he'd grown up in the cluster of the city or the fields of the country. He looked so at ease here, and not at all uncomfortable like she had.

"Did you grow up in the city?"

[Cloud Strife]

"Yes i did..And i hated it. Thats why i am here."
He said still looking at the lake. His eyes movied with the flow of the water. He smiled. His hair blow in his face. He movied it out of the way.

[Persephone DeVone]

Persephone thought about that for a moment. Cloud had grown up in the city, a place of opportunities, or so she'd been told. And he'd hated it. No doubt in her mind, she had a feeling that something bad had happened to him, or a string somethings bad. Maybe she was lucky she'd grown up with space to run, and caring people all around her.

Persephone wanted to ask why he'd hated it, but she didn't want to push him. They'd barely met and she didn't like the idea of trying to find out his life story already. Which meant it was her turn to tell him something about herself.

"Hmm... I grew up in the country. It was nice out there, but there were always the dangers of raids."

[Cloud Strife]

He didn't say a word at first.
"Well..You are luck. Growning up in the country is something that i would of loved to do."

He laid back down. He placed his hands behind his head and staired in to the sky. He looked as if the were dreaming of somethimg or someone. He closed his eyes and thought to himself of a mint. He then smiled. His eyes opend. He looked at her with a grate smiled on his face.

[Persephone DeVone]

"I guess that depends on which side you see it from. To me you're the lucky one. You grew up with all the choices anyone could want around you. That, to me, is lucky."

She smiled again as he smiled up at her. He was a nice guy, and she hoped that he would be a valuable friend someday. She really needed them these days, and the more the merrier.

[Saphira Siparti of Elvinoire]

Saphira perched on the branch of hte willow over their heads. As a phoenix. A transfomation incantation she had learnt the day before. It was working great-and she was only visible on the 6th and 7th plane. Not bad. The phoenix seemed to smile.
It was just like all other phoenixes. Albeit a phoenix with raven and silver plumage. That will ahve to be worked on. But Saphira simply perched their, the world at her feet, swaying in the wind.
THe two under the tree didn't notice her.
There was somehthng new. Not.
She sighed in her mind and stretched out her wings.

[Cloud Strife]

"Well you are right."
He looked back at the sky. His eyes wild with happness and frinedship. He smiled as he looked at the sky.
"Well i thank i have made a grate friend today."
He said looking back to her.

[Persephone DeVone]

"Same here."

She lied back on the ground, and her silver hair fanned out around her. For once her ancient eyes didn't look so haunted and ancient, and they seemed to fit her small body. She smiled up at the sky, and noticed something odd in the tree.

"Cloud, do you see that bird? It looks like a phoenix, but it's got the wrong colors."

She knew that there was a chance that bird wasn't a bird, but her mind was to relaxed to think about that. In earnest, she just wanted to lie down on the cool grass, and feel the sun on her skin.
