*Selena snuck out of her house so as not to wake her cat, Aphrodite, she was her familiar. She crept to the lake that wasnt too far away and started to undress. She loved the chilly water at night in the middle of the summer. It helped her think clearly. She had had a bit too much rum this night and needed to swim it off. She walked in from the shore and floated on her back looking at the stars*

Emma woke up from a nightmare. She sat in her bed with her eyes wide open.What she had dreamed was not happy at all, but Emma knew exactly what to do to wash the nightmare out of her mind, exactly that, wash it out. Emma quickly got undressed and put on her swimmers. She raced out of her cottage and out into the night. When she arrived at the lake she did not see Selena and she dived into the water. It was a chilly night and therefore the water was chilly. Emma swam further and for some strange reason, the more she swam the more she could smell rum. Emma stopped swimming and sniffed the cold night air. "Yuk!" Emma exclaimed as she smelt the rum. She didn't expect to smell a strong scent of rum in the clear water!

Saphira emerged some way in the lake's depths, a bit further in from the shore. THe water was in its crystilline perfection, rippling as she swam, swan like towards the shore.

Emma sniffed the air again. It was coming from the right side of her. She swam to the right a bit and stopped. Once more she smelt the air. She swam further ahead. It was very very strong now. Emma looked around and saw that there was a figure to the left of her. She pulled herself underneath the water's surface and swam towards the figure. The person was on their back. They were the cause of the rum problem. Emma moved towards their head. She pulled herself out from underneath the surface and looked to see who the person was. Emma saw that it was Serena! The person she had met when she had arrived at the city's gates. "Serena!" Emma exclaimed surprised.
