A Little Dip

[Evee~Natalia]

Evee was in a devine mood on this serene morning. It's just shy of a sunrise and the stars are still out, the sun is starting to rise setting a crisp romantic feel. She saw this as the perfect time to get an early start on her possibly stressfull day.

Evee grabbed one of her dress-robes that had a silky belt around it and a towel then left her small cottage in pursuit of the gorgeous lake. When she arrived, sunrise was also making it's way to greet her. Evee sat her clothes and towel down on the lake's edge then disrobed. She walked out into the lake water feeling the warmth from the sun engulfing every tender inch of her skin.

When she was submerged enough to hide her body, she relaxed a little and then went under water. She swam a little enjoying the waters calm turbulance and the soft grass that kissed her legs as she swam above it. Some seconds later she rose her head up out of the water and let out a sigh f comfort. Evee smiled slightly enjoying her first bath of the day before she did her house chores.

Evee's silky, long blue hair was slicked down against the back of her neck and some of her back, the rest was sitting in the water behind her. The sun glistened on her hair and made it shine like the gracefull smile of a goddess. As she bathed, she thought about the young man she met in the Tavern yesterday. She says to herself "I felt like I've known him all of my life, who is he? I must know..."

Maril walked out of the cave he dwelled in, which was located in the dark forest. He made his way towards the place where the lake was. He had never been there before. He had been bored. His brother had told him to remain in the caves as he rushed to the aid of his friends.

He had managed to get away from the caves as he had been quite bored waiting for his brother to return. He was going towards the stable and only realised that when he got quite close so he quickly turned to the path which led to the lake.

Maril walked towards the lake staring at the ground. He finally looked up and saw a girl in the lake. A girl who he knew! "Evee,"said Maril,"Is that you?" He just stared at her hair from behind.

Evee heard a familiar vice of a young man and turned around. Her long hair covered her chest so that she wouldn't be exposing anything she didn't want shown. When she saw that it was Maril, she smiled wider than she ever has in a long time. The sun finally came up and shined on her figure as if she was a celestial being beamed down from heaven to greet him.

"Maril, hi. I thought I was alone, guess not." She said with a warming laugh in her voice. Evee ignored the fact that she was bare in front of him, she wasn't that shy. Plus he's already seeing her so what would make a difference? Though she was a little caught off guard.

It was something about his presence there that made her feel most comfortable around him. It's almost like she could feel his aura, she could tell it was a good one. She's always been a good judge of character. She knew in her soul that their meeting was no coincidence.

" Does this bother you? Me bathing in front of you I mean..." She said looking up at the stallion, who obviously had his undivided attention on her. Evee hoped that this didn't make him think of her as a tart, she was just 'extremely' proud of her flawless body.

Maril continues to stare quite startled. He slowly got down at sat on the grass. He didm't know what to say when he was in a such a position. It was strange to him really. But Evee was in the water as if though she didn't have a care in the world.

Marim said,"No, its ok. I don't mind. Its fine with me. But maybe I should go,"said Marim still not sure what to do. He didn't mind staying but as thoughts raced through his head, he knew it would be better if he left.

He didn't want leave her like this but because he had brought by his brother to be polite and have good manners. Living in forests for most their lives his brother had been mindful to teach him about such things. He waited for an answer quietly.

[Evee~Natalia]

"Wait a sec! Really, I was just finishing!" She said not wanting him to go, she didn't want to scare him off over such a small thing, but she respected and appreciated his good manners. "If you'll be a good boy and turn around as I get dressed we can talk, If that's ok with you, Maril." She said with a little seductive smile. She was enjoying the look on his face which made her smile more.

Though she did wonder what was going through his mind at the moment, she didn't worry too much.

Maril looked at her smile and sensed she was teasing him. He then said,"Really. It's ok. You bathe, I won't go away. I'll just sit here like a good boy!" He smiled at her.

Maril then thought,"She's a nice person. Definetely pretty, caring and no doubt she's got a good sense of humour." He looked at her while she was in the water. She was so graceful, that he could not think of anything else. His long hair was falling onto his face but he didn't mind as that was what he was used to. His hair had always been like that.

Evee, being satisfied she got him to stay, finished her bathing. Once she was finished, she swam up to the lakes' edge and grabbed her towel. As she emerged from the warm waters, She wrapped her towel around her also. Her hair was still soaked so she did sort of a bow then snapped back maiking her hair fling out some water.

Not really knowing if she got Maril wet, she just picked up her fine woven dress-robes and put them on over the towel. When she was fully dressed, she reached under her robes and pulled the towel off of her body. A little convenient trick she learned.

She rubbed some of the excess water from her hair that was starting to get wavy then went and sat next to Maril. She smiled at him, glad that she met him. " So what has't you been up to today Maril?" She said wih a smile that showed her pearly whites. She wanted their conversaton to last long so that she would be with him longer...She treasured her time with him.

Maril watched as she got out of the water and changed into her clothes. He watched her as she came towards him and sat next to him. He looked at her and gazed into her eyes. She was different. Different from the others. But he didn't know why.

Marim said as a reply to her question,"I haven't been up to much today. I was bored, really bored. My brother had gone somewhere but he didn't tell me where. It must have been important. And then he tells me to take care of my little sister who does one of her disappearing acts again. So I decided I would go for a walk. Not that much of an eventful day until I saw you." He smiled at her.

Evee started to blush from his remark. "I'm glad I met you Maril Mazmo. You're more special to me than you realize." Hoping that that gave him a sense of how she felt about him personally. She moved her damp wavy hair onto her other shoulder then smiled contently at Maril before she looked away from him and out at the shining lake.

Evee started again, "Maril, I wanted to tell you how happy I was meeting you the other day...I think it was the happiest day of my life." She says with a little laughter in her voice. She didn't want to say too much or get too involved with him because he seemed like he was a traveling person, too busy for her.

Yet, that's exactly what she wanted...To travel with the man she loved. To be as free as a dove on moonless nights. But she wasn't sure if Maril shared those same dreams...

Marim looked at her as she gazed out at the lake. He saw that the lake was looking different today. He didn't know why but maybe it was because of her. His feelings for her he could not express but he wondered why.

Maril looked and the ground and suddenly opened his mouth and said,"I like you, Evee...." He was speechless after that. But suddenly something had bit him on the ear. It was his brother's monkey Mamam.

He took the amulet from the monkey's hand and wore it so he would understand it. And then he heard the strangest things. A ghostly mage, a vampire.....his brother had told him nothing of these. And then he heard it. His brother was in trouble. He got up quickly and said,"I have to go now. Its urgent. Maybe we will meet some other time." His face had lost all its colour as he waited for her to reply.

Evee was nonetheless suprised and over joyed all at once. When Maril stood up she stood up next to him and gave him the answer that she knew he wanted to hear. " I like you too Maril...." She said with a smile as she stared in his now panicking eyes.

She didn't want to hold him up so she made the most of the moment...She leaned in to his face and gave him a light kiss on his cheek. Satisfied with her action, she looked up at him and smiled again. "Go now Maril, Your brother needs you more than I do right now. But if you wish to see me sooner, I'll come to the lake at dawn tomorrow..." And with that closing statement, she hugged him tight, hoping that she would recieve a returning embrace before he parted.

Maril heard her quickly. He felt her kiss her. He would cherish that always. And then she hugged him. He hugged her back,"I'll be back tomorrow at the lake. But now I must go. See you soon Evee."

Maril ran with his brother's monkey towards the stables of Avaren. He took out his horse, got on and quickly rode into the mountains in pursuit of his brother, thinking about her.

Evee sighed heavily as she watched him leave. " Don't worry, never worry...I'll be here...always..." She hated to see him leave but somehow she knew that they would mysteriously end up in the same place together again. The next day, Evee had gotten dressed early a little before dawn. (She had a darn good reason to ^_^) She wore her hair to the side today making it look as if it was someone laying lazily on their side. She braided it into one big braid to make sure it wouldn't be blown around in the wind. Lastly, she put a head accessorie on across the top of her hair that had gold trim like her dress robes she wore today.

Evee wanted to get to the lake on time but she didn't want Maril to think she was rushing to him, so she took her time. But she wasn't walking slow either. When she made it there, she was thirsty as a camel who had gone without water too long. Evee walked up to the lakes edge as her bare yet still delicate soft feet was being tickled by the grass under them. She sat down on her knees and leaned down toward the water before she scooped up a handfull with her hands and began sipping smoothly from her hands. Evee only walked barefoot on occasion but today she felt free...

[Maril Mazmo]

Maril was tired and exhausted from the previous night's expedition. He felt weak. He had blood all over his body and he had a massive cut on his neck. But all this didn't matter as he ran to meet Evee.

When he reached the lake he saw Evee, bending down to drink water. He just waited quietly, staying behind. He was trying to blend with the background. But then he didn't want to leave as always. He wanted to be there. He waited patiently.

Evee popped her head up and let the water in her hands pour back out into the lake. She heard foot steps but wasn't sure who's they were. Even though she was expecting Maril to meet her. Evee stood up slowly, making sure she didn't make any sudden moves. Just in case it wasn't a frightened animal with Brute strength.

While she stood up she turned toward the trees behind her and looked around. She wasn't scared nor nervous but she didn't want to put herself n danger either. "Who's there? Come about! Show yourself!" She yelled, hoping to get a response.
