A Little Dip

[Maril Mazmo]

Mairl heard Evee shouting about someone or something or maybe him. He walked out and said,"Its only me, Evee. Nothing to get afraid of. I'm here,"said Maril, with a smile,"No worries anymore." He pointed towards the lake as an indication that they should go towards there.

[Evee~Natalia]

Evee smiled, relieved that it was Maril. She folded her arms across her chest and put a smirk on her face, "You sly boy, you had me goin' there. But I'm glad it was you..." Evee turned back around towards the lake and went back toward the lake's edge.

She sat down with her knees up and wrapped her arms around her legs. It looked as if she hugged them.

"So how are you doing? I guess not as bad as me,"said Maril with a smile. With all those wounds, he had managed to gain he saved his brother's life with the mysterious warrior.

He looked at her with interest. He saw that she looked prettier than usual.

[Evee~Natalia]

Evee looked over at him with a smile, but then it faded as she noticed all those wounds on him. She didn't notice them a moment ago because she wasn't close enough to see them. They looked bad, really bad. "Oh no, Maril what happened to you?" She said with deep concern for him. Yet she didn't know why she showed such concern for him, maybe it was just her being so compassionate, or maybe it was something else. She had no clue.

Possibly, she's starting to see how much she really cares about him. Wanting to help because she felt like he needed it, plus she wasn't sure how much blood he lost. She took out some cloth from her pocket and some kind of wood container from the other pocket. Inside the container was her mother's herbal remedy made from the rare fruit her mother told her about in one of her recipe letters.

Evee was always prepared, and thank goodness she was today. She opened the wooden container ready to bandage him up. This fruit that was now cream has amazing healing powers, if Evee was to put it on all of Maril's wounds there's no doubt that he'd be fully healed in a mere few hours.

Evee said to him in a calm voice, "I'm going to heal you, but you need to take your clothes off of your wounds." Then she listened to that sentence again in her hair and tried to rephrase it, "I-I didn't mean it in that way, I just wanna help you..." She said getting nervous.

Maril liked the way she cared for him. When she noticed his wounds she was concerned. And he liked that. He watched her take something out of her pockets. It looked like a cream and it smelled strongly. It was a good smell though.

He saw her look embarrased when she asked him a question. But he replied,"Umm sure. Your only going to heal them. That's all." He removed his shirt and his body was covered in blood. It was a gruesome sight. His muscles were showing and he just looked down.

Evee was shocked by this, she hadn't seen someone so badly wounded since her parents died. She placed her hand on his torso gentley and touched his bloody wounds lightly so that she wouldn't hurt him anymore than he already was. When Evee removed her hand, she looked at the tips of her fingers and stared at Maril's blood, She could only imagine what happened to give him wounds so severe.

"Hold on one moment...." She said as she leaned over to the lake's edge and wet the cloth. She twisted some of the water out then turned back towards Maril. She started wiping away the blood and she took her time doing so, it's not wise to do a quick job on someone's wounds, especially when the wounds are this bad. It took her about ten minutes tops but she managed to get all of the blood off of him carefully.

Next, she took a litle bit of cream at a time from her wooden container until all his wounds were covered by the strong & sweet smellng fruit cream. Finally, she took some more cloth out and wrapped it around his torso, covering all his wounds. Once the cloth was snug on him but loose enough to move, she tied the remaining cloth ends in a knot. "All done, you should be fully healed in no time." She said with a smile. She sat there glad that she could help him, Evee knew the fruit would come in handy some day.
