With a sigh, Kaldaka lay on the grass that grew so much on the lower parts of the mountains. Her mind was in turmoil. She had found her parent's killer. At last, after so many years of searching, she was free to avenge them. But now she felt helpless- wondering whether her parents would approve.
"Oh, ada and mother, I need you," she whispered to the sky as the tears finally came. She sobbed for what seemed like hours. Finally she sat up, wiping the tears off of her face. New strength seemed to come to her. Looking up to the sky, she smiled for the first time in four long years.

The grass crunched as somebody approached. Kaldaka rolled her eyes as she saw it was the man from the forest. Great. Damn it, she thought. "What do you want?" she said wearily, rolling over onto her stomach and looking up at him from the grass, the traces of her tears still on her face. "Well?" she said sharply, wishing she had been uninterrupted. But now... well, she could use some company, but not someone who was trying to kill you.

"don't get close to me,this sword is somehow controling me....just try and find someone who can destroy it...there's not much time." sesshomaru said, the sword glowing red.

Naive as she was, she was just too curious. She had been in the mountains that day, for the first time. She liked the quiet and its tranguility. And hardly any demons ,in the general term ofcourse, around. The checked all 7 planes. Or rather, Kat did. She floated down a few feet in the air to hover, cross legged in front of the two stranges. "Drop it." she said innocently.

Kaldaka got up from the ground, pulling herself up by a long stick encased in a sturdy metal. "Hold it tightly," she warned him before bring the stick down with incredible force on the the sword. It shivered and then broke under the second blow, the pieces flying everywhere. Turning to the girl floating in the air, she said, "Hello! And who are you, may I ask?"

"Saphira de'Farrar of Siparti the Second." she flicked her hair over her shoulders revealing the golden and black end of a thin snake around her neck. Kat-she had drawn her out to be a daemon beside her so she could talk. "And a mage." she finished. "At your service."

Kaldaka listened in interest, leaning on her 'walking stick' with her head cocked to one side. She smiled slightly at the woman, a grave smile, but a smile nonetheless. "I am....." she hesitated for a moment, not quite willing to give out her name to a total stranger. "Call me Traveller," she said.

Saphira sent a searching eye over her person, searching for a name. "Really? I don't believe you."

Kaldaka smiled wryly. "I only said call me Traveller, I never said my name was Traveller," she pointed out with a grin. But anyways, I normally don't give out my name easily. I think only one person I have yet met here knows my name." A shadow passed over her face, and she pulled her hood up over it, as if afraid to show her face to anyone.

"Very well, Traveller." she said pleasantly, rising off into the air to hover. "Well. Have you decided to stop travelling, Traveller?"

A soft smile came onto Kaldaka's face, dancing on the very corners of her lips. "No," she said softly, gazing up at the sky, where the stars were just beginning to come out. "I will never be done travelling"

Dreamy person, thought Saphira and she landed to stand in front of her. "Really? That's nice." she twirled a strand of her own raven hair thoughtfully.

Kaldaka smiled softly. "Travelling is my life," she said softly, trying to make Saphira understand. A shadow crossed her face for a fleeting second. "I have scars that have gone so deep they will never truly leave me, but travel.... it helps. I feel the pain less when I travel." She paused, and then said matter of factly, "Why did you not choose the path of a warrior?"

"Well...I did not really choose. Both my parents were dr-I mean, mages, and well, it was rather like family tradition. There had not been one warrior in our blood line since 8 generations back. I was introduced to magic at a very young age. So naturally..." she gestured vaguely around her.
