Walking

[David Augustine]

David held her arm in front of him and examined the wound. It would take a few days for it to heal, but nothing to serious. He then cupped some water from one of the pails on the yoke and poured it over the wound to wash off the blood on the arm and to cleanse any infection. He then wrapped it with the bandage and tied it snug so that it wouldn't come off even after it being soaked with blood. "There it's all done." he told her.

Avean sighed, not looking at either of them. She felt guilty and bowed to him in thanks. Her gratitude might not have been very enthusiastic but she felt so vunerable and weak.
Avean turned her gaze onto the ground which was growing interesting to her at that exact moment.

[Kane]

"So who were they.." she asked still looking around.

[David Augustine]

"You're welcome." he told Avean. He saw the way she was acting and knew that look all too well. He decided to leave her alone for the moment to let her sort everything out. He turned to Kane when she asked her question. "I don't really know. All I could tell is that they were an organized group of highway robbers." David answered. He then turned back to Avean, "Do you know who they were?"

[Kane]

"Ok."

[Avean Luxenbourg]

Avean closed her eyes and pulled herself together. "They were robbers." she said, her eyes now falling on David. She pushed her chesnut hair from her face in a deseperate plee from it's blinding curtain. Avean looked from one to the other, sitting down in that exact spot.

[David Augustine]

David stretched out his hand to help Avean get up. "It's alright." he told her, "They won't harm you again. Once we get you to the city we'll look for some foot wear for you." He looked at Kane. "Is something the matter. You don't mind if she comes with us at least until we reach the city."

[Kane]

"No i don't mind..I thank it would be fun." she said witha big smile on her face.

[Avean Luxenbourg]

Avean took his hand and stood up, quickly taking her hand back. She brushed herself off and looked up at David. "I wish not to be a burden." she said, taking a step back and looking at Kane's grin. "Alright..." she said, a warm smile now on her face. "If you wish it."
Avean bowed her head slightly and looked up at David through a sheet of red hair.

David smiled back. "Nice to have you join us." he replied. He then shouldered the yoke once more and started walking toward the city again. "So where are you from, Avean?" he asked her.

[Avean Luxenbourg]

"A city far from here called Abora." she said, walking beside him. "Where do you come from?" she asked, looking to David then to Kane.

[Kane]

"I just wander around." she said looking at the sky

[David Augustine]

"I come from a large estate far away from here. It's where my family moved to when they left this city. They were one of the first lords of Avaren and close friends with the king."

[Avean Luxenbourg]

Avean nodded, listening intently. She closed her eyes for a second, seeing her mother's face smiling in on her. Avean grinned and looked at the ground before her, lost in thought.

[Kane]

Kane keep a eye out. She keep looking around.She couldn't keep looking on way. Her eyes looked at them than back to looking around.
