Shadow walked up the steep slope of the mountain. He had climbed most of the way but he still had a ways to go. His axe dragged behind him and he held his one arm in front of his face to shelter his face from the wind. He grunted and cursed as the wind pushed at him climbing.

Selena sat up on a cliff looking over the kingdom. She came up here to watch the sunrise. It was her first week here and she didnt know what to do. She felt the gust of wind on her face blowing her hair... She pulled her dark cloak around her tighter feeling the wind in her eyes making them water. She wiped them on the back of her hand. She watched the sky turn from a golden pink to a beautiful blue with a big blaze of yellow. She watched the clouds move quickly with the wind.
