Away from the World

[David Augustine]

David smiled as he saw the results. Her darkness seemed to rejuvenated back to it's normal strength. He looked at his blade. The side of shadow was weaker than that of light. However, with time he knew it would be restored. He sheathed his sword back again. "Yes, maybe if you were to grow stronger your darkness would as well." he replied. He moved to her side and wrapped an arm around her and kissed her. Maybe there were other ways of satisfying her darkness.

She kissed him back and leaned into him and watched the fire, it was past time that she looked for more sources to feed the strenth and hunger that the darkness craved so much. She slid her fingers through her hair and sighed, "Strength is what I need...and I will find it."

"I believe you will." David replied. He held her closer to him and he could feel her figure against his armor. He looked into the depths of the cave. He had to tell her something about it. "There is a secret that I have here. I want to show you, but you must keep it a secret. Very few know what lies in this cave."

She looked up at him, she would always hold his secrets and keep them as that, secrets. She wondered what was held in this cave that could mean so much to him.

"I will keep your secrets as such David."

David then rose and looked toward the depths of the cave. He walked over to where the left over meat laid and picked up a torch from the fire. "Come with me." he told her as he started to walk deeper into the cave. As the advanced the air became warmer and something in the distance started to become visible. Something large and almost blended in with the dark. He stopped when it was fully visible. It had midnight blue scales covering it's body. Two massive wings that were strong and wide. It's body was more powerful than the norm. It bared large talons and weilded a long tail. It turned to reveal it's head. It had horns that sprouted at the back of it's head and pointed toward his back. It's eyes were emerald with ruby slits for pupils. It bared shimmering pearl white teeth. It was a dragon.

Raven went with him and moved along the darkness with him. When she saw the image, she stopped and stared in awe at the dragon, she hadn't been this close to one before...she had only seen them in distants...She smiled a bit, it was a beautiful creature, one of the more stronger ones, she could tell. She whispered softly

"It's amazing, simply gorgouse."

"Raven this is Bahamut, King of the Dragons." David announced, "Bahamut this is Raven." He pointed to each accordingly. And watched both them. Bahamut leaned closer to Ravn and sniffed her with his large nostrils.

Raven bowed her head in respect and stayed completely still, letting him do as he wished. She smiled a bit and spoke, "A pleasure..." She couldn't beleive she was in the presence of something so...wonderful.

The dragon bowed his head in response and pulled his head back. David threw the meat toward Bahamut and he ate it in one bite. His eyes wandered from David to Raven and back. He blinked and then walked back towards the back of the cave. David turned and looked at Raven. "If you need to talk to anyone, besides me. You can talk to him. He is very wise, but right now he's tired. That is why he didn't talk."

Raven didn't know they could talk and looked at him a bit startled. She looked back at the dragon then back at David, "He can talk?"

[David Augustine]

David chuckled, "They can talk if they decide to learn how to. Usually only the older dragons learn that skill however. He is older than most dragons, but age doesn't affect him yet." He looked into Raven's eyes. "We should leave him be for now. He'll come to us if he wants to talk." He put an arm around her and started guiding her towards the fire he had made near the mouth of the cave.

Raven nods and glances back at the Dragon before going back to the fire and sitting down. She smiled up at him and kissed him lovingly, her fingers sliding through his hair, she hadn't seen him in awhile and wanted to show him she missed him without having to say it.

David smirked as she kissed him. He returned as he wrapped his other arm around her and held her close. He could feel her body against his. Her hands running through his hair. He broke it only to end up kissing her again.

She smirked back and bit his lower lip before kissing him a bit more, letting passion peak into the kiss. She played with his hair and leaned into his touch, she only let him ever get this close...not even her last love was this close to her.

David reached for a pack that he had brought with him. He opened it with one hand and pulled out two blankets warm enough to cover both of them. He laid out the first one underneath them and then opened the other one over himself and Raven. He moved the pack under his head and looked at her. He gave her a kiss and smiled. He wrapped his arms around her once more and let her rest her head on his chest. He closed his eyes then and started to fall asleep.
