As people seem to want their own houses as sub-boards and the idea has been around since the start of the site, it very well may be implemented soon.
Of course, this shall be linked to the cash shop actually getting up and running to give all you people something to do with that gold you've been accumulating thus far.
As of such, I believe what sort of house you get will most likely be based on your character's level.
Thus being said, I would like ideas or thoughts on what level would be associated with what sort of housing for the associated character.

I'm not speaking this for any one or myself or anything, just simply from a point of view:
Levels in skills of magic etc whatever, represents an Individual. Houses are more family. So I think the more posts on this site (meaning the longer your membership) the larger or more desirable your housing.
But then, the way of testifying one's level is determined by their role playing skills, which is what this forum is for-so in a way, I think the level would be as suitable, as you have sort of 'owned' or 'earned' that desire whatever it might be.
I don't know. Just some ideas.

OK, I suddenly had a burst of inspiration for the houses. I believe that RPers who win tournaments and RP often should have an easier time of getting the house, so here is my idea. The price of the house is determined by your level. Let me put out the prices for my 3 house ideas:
House: Base Price Apartment: 4,500 gold Normal House: 25,000 gold Mansion: 150,000 gold
Now, the prices might seem a little high, correct? Well, every post gives you 15 gold, so really each house costs a lot less. Also, additional gold can be won in tournaments and I'm willing the admin has more ideas of how gold can be earned. Even so, they would be high. However, I say the price is divided by what level you are. I don't mean by number of posts, I mean actual level that the admin says you are. For example, let's say a level 3 person wants an appartment. Now, first you divide the price by 15 to find the number of posts (4,500/15=300). Next, you divide it by the level (300/3=100) Therefore, as soon as you hit level 3, you got yourself an appartment. Nice deal in my opinion.
A problem that could arise is people acting as if they have a 500 room apartment, so I am going to prevent that now. An appartment has one room, which at most could really contain a bed, a table, a few chairs, and maybe enough room for the character's weapons and armor. A house could have more: a bedroom, a kitchen (although this isn't in the most technological society, so it probably would be the food storage and cooking fire place), a living room, and another room for spare, which could be a variety of things. Protégé would probably have a sparring area and weapon care area for his second room. Now, for the last home type: a mansion. This probably wouldn't have any limitations: though the administrators would tell you if you went too far. This kind of home, however, could have maybe a garden or extravagent architecture.
The number of sub-boards might clutter up the site, so I have decided that if a person does not have one IC post a month, and do not inform the admins with a good reason, they lose their board and have to buy it all over again.
That is just my idea. What do you think?

I love it ^_^ I can also tell that you really thought about this. I was hoping something like this would occur. I would like for Evee to have a one-bedroom, though she is currently in a house that her parents left for her in the citizen housing area. But I think that this idea would have a lo more people determined to post so that they can have their own place, I say this is a perfect home buying system Protege. It encourages people to post ^_^

I think it is a great idea! Afterall, gold does buy. But there might just cause one problem...people posting hard out and very badly ( I know I can't say much but...) to get the money... isn't there some sort of system thing you can put in taht determines the number of WORDS in a post as well as the number of posts itself?

While I do admit that some people make posts that are just...(insert random derogatory swear word here). However, people who post bad normally have difficult advancing in tournament, for people who post horribly have posts full of holes that can be exploited. But for now, I shall post the numbers of posts for each
Level: Appartment post, House Post, Mansion Post Level 1: 300, 1667, 10000 Level 2: 150, 834, 5000 Level 3: 100, 556, 3334 Level 4: 75, 417, 2500 Level 5: 60, 334, 2000 Level 6: 50, 278, 1667 Level 7: 45, 239, 1429
It takes a lot of posts at low levels, so we don't have much to fear in my opinion. Besides, a lot of the people who post badly do not have many posts.
