I realize this and I never said that you had to be on daily. I just said that I have been on almost everyday and stated a simple observation. Most of the best rpers here are only on like every 3 to 4 days and sometimes aren't on for weeks. Not that it isn't a bad thing or anything, it's just that if they're needed badly then how can do what is needed if they are not around. I know that there are people qualified for the position as administrator. It's just that we need someone that isn't just a good rper but someone that can be on this site often.

Just a thought, but the 3 nominees, Viktor, Kaldaka, and Gilsworthy, are all in the tournament. Why don't we let the tournament decide? If they win their matches, then they are on more often than every 3 days, and all of them, I noticed, have good RPing skills. Although I know it can't work perfectly because Gils is fighting Kaldaka now, and then the winner of that match will only fight Viktor if he wins his, but I would be willing to have a few fights and judge them, if need be.
Actually, now that I look at it through terms of RPing skill and activity, both of which are traits that are required to go far in the tournaments, I think all of the semifinalists (anyone fighting in round 3) would be good canidates.

My thoughts on that would have to be a no on that. Simply because some of those matches didn't start until a day or two after they were posted. If you were to pick a new admin over a tournament champion it wouldn't be very suitable. That's just my view of the whole situation. If it's a tournament that you want to determine who is going to become the next admin go ahead. I've sat here and watched as things go by and the tournament has been going on for quiet some time, simply because when the matches were posted and ready to go people didn't start until a few days afterwards. Maybe it's just me that's seeing this, but even once the match gets started that it seems that they both don't show up again until it's too late or something else.

I say someone posts an announcement poll so that people can vote who they want, and include an other so that we can see if more people wanted somebody else. That would probably work well. Very democratic as well.

Just because I don't post every day, or even log in, doesn't mean I don't return to look at new topics frequently. Small talk bores me, and you can only meet so many new people before that starts to get old too. Once we have a good, juicy plot going I will be on as often as possible, but I would say that right now there's not enough activity for me to really even want to post all that much. Being admin, or co-admin, or whatever, would pretty much require that I be here every day checking stuff, but right now there isn't exactly an obligation.
So, basing eligibility over how often a person is logged in is something of a non sequitur.

Good point, Gilsworthy. I myself have often gone a week without logging on to a forum yet I checked it every day. Normally I would do that because I have no need to post but I still want to know what is going on at the site. Also, I won't log in sometimes because I do not want to be drawn into RPing with members.
As for fights not starting right away, that can be linked to people planning out and thinking their actions through. I do remember a certain fight in which an RPer made a rather foolish move, and later complained on a judge's ruling. So really, I believe that if they don't post right away, it is not because of laziness, but because of intelligence, a highly valued quality in my book.

I'm well aware of those facts and I seriously doubt your idea of the person planning before starting the fight really holds any water. And as I have stated before this the tournament wouldn't be a very good thing to choose who is to become the next admin. Just my thought. Oh, and the only one that I can see planning for the fight before it starts is Viktor. Simply because I have rped with him before. These are just simple observations of mine and I know that everyone can go on without weeks of logging on, but if you were an administrator I do not think you could do that. It's best to get things done when they are needed to be done instead of letting it build up into a heap that overruns you.

Don't worry. For good or for ill, the new king won't be decided by the tournament outcome, the topic not even still being open to debate. Chances are I will decide this by vote, recording people's IP as they vote so no one can vote multiple times with different characters each new time.
Seems the current three with the most support would have to be Gilsworthy, Viktor, and Kaldaka. As for the position itself, it is a roleplaying position along with minor admin work, although once you have the account you are free to change any part of it to your own liking, such as name, or avi/sig.

I also concur with Gil. I may not post all the time, but I do regularly check to see what friends have been putting out. Also, for example, I find that i have to wait a long time in between posts before someone in that thread replies to the current posting. thus, I'm moving other peoples pace, rather than my own. That is why you may sometimes see me go nuts and post several threads at once, just in probability that someone will reply each day...

So go nuts over posting...big deal. With having the responsibilities of an admin, you need to log in. Because you never know what you are going to get in your messages. The lack of logging in will not do.

I'm sorry if I have'nt been on much lately but I will try to be more active now. I nominate myself because we need more than 1 nomination for Queen. And maybe There will be a king and a Queen and the king can make the queen an admin too, if it works. Just an idea. Who seconds me or agrees with me say "AYE" ?

Well, then, it is decided. Viktor shall receive the position. The vote was close, even with repeat email/IPs being discounted, although Viktor was, ultimately, the victor ^_^
