What can I say? I simply love how active this site is. I mean...it's so exciting.

I agree David, It's so active here I take long vacations just to get away from it all. (Hint hint major sarcasm.)

Especially the tournament. I never imagined that it would be so exciting. I mean it's so entertaining to watch one person make one move and then it's over.

Well, having noted your sarcasm, I've decided to drop mine and speak plainly.
Had the role players on this site decided to better their writing skills and not post one line posts, or even one paragraph ones, maybe more people would be inclined to join the site, AND post.
And, if you haven't noticed, many if not all of the good role players left this site for that reason alone. THE MAJORITY of you did not care to improve.
So, my two cents given, I will end with this. Maybe your tournament would have been better if those that posted took care to say more than what they did. Maybe your king would not have left if you cared to write better. And maybe then there would not be a need to take long vacations.

Well, that's not my fault that you didn't look for the good RPers.

Maybe you don't realize how this whole "internet" thing works. You don't look for people to join the site, people find it.
In my years of freeform rping the one thing I see kill more games is apathetic players with no ambition to even try.
The second thing I see kill more games is one person who comes on the boards after a lull and shoots his mouth off about how bored he is with the site. If you're bored, leave. Find a new site, or better yet make your own and see just hard it actually is to keep the attention of flakey teenagers.
So, if you are complaining about the lack of action, make some. It's not going to start for you.

I agree Viktor. As for people wanting paragraphs of writting some people simply don't have the time somedays, Creativity comes and goes you don't have it everyday. The only way RPing boards will stay alive is if people simply put an effort in its not soully about how good you are its if you enjoy it as well. Cause only if you give everyone a chance will a site run well. You can't simply ignore those that aren't as fantastic as you the only way people will learn and develop is if the good Rpers help them and teach them.
If you simply look for one type of person your going to over look the potentials of those that aren't so good yet. Teaching is the only way RPers are going to grow and develop there skills so interact with the beginners rather than ignore them!

I strongly agree with both Viktor and you Enelya. I am a good RPer (so say the people who gave me karmas and myself ^_^) and I left on a long vacation because there was hardly any activity here. I've tried to keep things exciting by making good posts and posting frequently as I am able to. But when people you RP with give 2 sentence posts for your 4 or 5 paragraph ones, it makes you ask, "why do I even bother?" at least in my perspective. I have been at two other sites but I still come back to this one trying to see if anyone came back or even tried to make things stay fun and alive. Imagine my disappointment when I still seen the same posts from december and mid- feb as I left them. I know there are good RPers here and elsewhere with potential and are willing to stay active but they won't come here if there's no activity. I'm one of those people.
For example, Maril Mazmo and I were well..."together" and he and his other Mazmo family members just up and never came back to this site. I had so many threads going involving Maril and other good Rpers that just left. And there was activity going on. I just hope things get better here, I'd hate to see this great site go to waste...
