"For someone who claims to be a noble warrior or light, you certainly get around. Having loveless relations with both that Mistress of shadows and your "sister". How can you claim to be on the side of 'good' when your soul is as black as my own, perhaps more. You crack me up." The three of them said with another bout of laughter. How David underestimates him, it was amusing. Much less, that David watched the treeline so intently for only a terrified wild Hare to come hopping across the trail.
Not for nothing, this David fellow was somewhat clever to notice his copies' lack of shadows, looks like he'd have to spend a little more effort on this specimen.

(On an OOC note, Naruum is not actually Rith Matou, he merely took Rith's form to get closer to Avean and David easier.I just executed my posts that way to prevent Godmoding)

"Tell me, o mighty mage?" David responded, "How much have you learned? Your seeing eyes seem to be blind or near there. My relations are not loveless and I have never slept with Avean. Also, you seem to know only the standards of the paladin. You believe that I fear what I am not. And I for one know what my soul is. I am not dark or a falsehood to my beliefs and standards."
He turned back after seeing that it was only a hare. He faced the three illusions. He sighed lightly. These childish games were made from apprentices. He wasn't impressed by such a childish display. He stood there patiently awaiting Neruums next move.

(heh yeah, you haven't only becuase that part of the thread was deleted) "Oh excuse me, I must have found that one in the fantasy part of your mind." the three Naruums mused. The Hare from before resurfacing, but cowering in the shadow of the trees, a spectator to what was going on.
"So you say she is like your sister, eh?" the trio said, in unison drawing their swords, basic, sturdy steel long swords, but finely crafted none the less. They took one giant step forward and pointed their blades towards the ground. With that they immediately made a trio of large, booming explosions. Of course they weren't real, but Naruum likes to make his shows entertaining. "Then be prepared to consider yourself an only child." The real Naruum added from where Avean was standing opposed to David, the same stance as his illusions before they exploded, his blade at her throat, and the "Hare" gone.
So its a dirty trick, sue him. He didn't care about David, the way he acted soon nobody would, except maybe his Dragon friend, Bahamut. Avean, however was quite the interesting specimen, impressive power when she becomes enraged, just lacked control, and being as that she was nearly at the brink of death as it was he wouldn't be seeing much resistance out of either of them.

Avean looked up, fear in her eyes yet a spark of anger flickered. "Get away from me!" she croaked, soft yet with strength tinged in her voice. "Get away!" she screamed at him, kicking him in the shin so he would back away.

David's movements were quick in response to Naruum's actions. Even with his fatigue, he was capable of a fight. He drew what was left of his spear to pick the mage's blade away from Avean's throat. He then side kicked him in the gut. He stepped in front of Avean and glared at Naruum.
A smirk spread acrossed David's face. It would only be a matter of time before Avean was fully recovered. The vial contained a solution that was mixed with dragon's blood. It was a most difficult solution to make, but overall a powerful medicine. He would only have to hold him off until Avean could stand on her own two feet and fight back.

Avean felt power surging through her veins and a smile spread across her lips. "Your an idiot." she said, standing up now. Avean's eyes were sharp and angry. She raised her hands and they glowed a deep green. "You shouldn't under estimate his power my good sir, for you just might be offending more than one person." Avean sent a powerful jolt of electricity at him, hoping it would knock him down.
