Alezand Jozlyn slid up behind a dead tree. He gazed up at the Citadel, so this was a home to darkness. He had heard several stories that lured him to this place. Vampires, darkness, evil. Sounded like he could put a dent in this place. Armed to the teeth with all his favorite weapons, Alezand stood ready to take on what ever awaited him in that place. He sprinted to the archway entrance. He drew his shining sword, known as the sword of Light and Dark. He had longed for some action. Now lets see what trouble I can find here, thought to himself. then he stepped into the gloom. Silently creeping down the passageways, he made sure he left a way for him to find his way back out. After hours it seems of wandering the darkness, Alezand stopped. Something was amiss. Tension was in the air...

As he stopped, Trixice stepped up behind him, moving out of the shadows as a blade flickered in her hand; a sharp dagger. She only carried it incase the young man decided to spin around and deliver a blow with his sword, for the type who often went searching for trouble were never usually one's to hesitate and think about their actions.
Her copper-gold eye shone from under the brim of her hat, while her cropped-black fringe covered the other. Tattoo's adorned her jawline and around that one visible eye, and she wore a necklace with some animal's teeth adorned around the pendant of a skull. "What, may I ask, are you doing?" She asked in a husky, yet feminine voice.

In flash of an eye, the silver blade flicked out as Alezand spun on his heel. As fast as it swung, he stopped the sword a millimeter from the womans throat. "Who are you and what is your business?" he asked pointedly, no malice nor friendliness carries upon his words. His other hand was already resting on the hilt of his short sword. He breathed slowly and evenly...

(ooc: just a quesiton...is your char Elvin?) Saphira stood still in the shadows, not daring to breath, her chest hardly rising as she froze, listenign and looking. Her near black eyes glittered and flickered with a black fire that burned beneath the surface of that cold composure. Even htough she was a mage, she also carried several...weapons. They hid beneath the folds of her cloak. She did not speak. Her elvin ears picking up everysound. She shadows may betray her...but her own movements will not. She stayed still And watched.

occ: Not really, just been trained by elves in some parts of the character's past. And use weapons that were gifts from the elves. ie, the sword. Alezand continued to keep his senses alert. "Its not polite to sneak up on people. espescially in a place like this." He watched the woman intently, trying to discern whether she was friend or foe.

In an instant, Saphira whirled around the tombstone, her thin rapier unleashing an sharp sound, like some thin subtance, so thin, it cracked the air like the tip of an sharp knife slicing the water's surface. The blade stopped a few inches away from the young man's throat, Saphira her self steadying her breath from the surprise.Oh please. STUPID! How idiotic can you get-Shut it Kat.-you simply had to turn back before you had a good look around didn't you, you childish little girl, and-Kat! I can't--you simply had to do this on your own. Who Cares about those gems at any rate? And you are soo picky! I could have seen that stupid-Saphira tried to concentrate on the person in front of her, trying to shut out the demon's voice in her head. Kat had some advantages, but he was also extremely annoying. Like a fly that had saved your life, somehow, but kept buzzing in your ear afterwards. She was nearly distraceted by this analogy that had inserted itself in her train of thought. Concentrate Saphira...concen-Like a FLY? How DARE you. I can-Kat. SHUT IT! Unknown to herself, She had not been concentrating just quite hard enough.

Trixice let her lips slide into an effortless, cunning smirk as the young man swiveled himself around with all the speed of an ox and shoved a blade to her throat. She did not take another breath, nor blink, nor flinch, she did not even move, save for an eyebrow which raised itself over her copper-gold eye.
Her stare was intense, and almost as quick as he dared to question her of her business her fingers twitched with the desire to pull him back and cut his tongue out with his own blade. But again Trixice did not move, for there was someone else in their company.
In a flash of movement, Saphira darted out of the shadows with a rapier to the young man's throat, and Trixice took this opportunity to take a step backward from the two of them. Her hand came to tilt her hat up slightly and her eyes flashed a silent irritation at the elven mage. It had hardly been her moment to intervine, especially in matters that were not her own.
"Its not polite to sneak up on people. espescially in a place like this."
The acolyte narrowed her gaze and moved forward, pushing Saphira's rapier gently out of harms way, before her hand slid down to the young man's sword hilt. Her hand rested atop his, but in no more than the span of a second, she had it half out of it's hilt and against his side; two inches more pressure and it would have sliced right through him. But in her current position the blade merely rest there, ready at any moment to inflict pain on it's owner.
"It is not polite to hold a blade to the throat of a lady." She hissed, her tattooed eyes tensing with a controlled anger. Roughly she pushed him backward and let go of his sword. "It it not your business to know my name. I asked with the etiquette you clearly lack, whether I could be told what you were doing here. All you needed to utter was no." She informed to him icily.

occ:SPEED of an Ox!!! you gotta be kidding me right? Alezand is much faster than most. Lol like the insult though, I'm flattered. sort of. Alezand wasn't afraid of his own blade resting where it was. He was sure he could overpower her, plus the light armor he wore underneath was quite strong. He came here prepared for anything. He wasn't accustomed on being chidded for his respectfulness. He was well known for his chivalry and manners. "pardon, etitquette, I don't lack as much as you might have been led to believe. However, one does not dwell with pleasantries in as dangerous place as this. One must take his encounters in stride, be on guard at all times, if you know what I mean. If you wish me no harm, I wish none on you. Shall we put away our weapons? What the heck do you think you were doing anyway, Saphira?"

Saphira flowingly sheathed her rapier, smiling an seemingly embarrassed yet nervous smile. Kat's eyes scrutinised the young man's sword with glaring suspicions.....I think we were right.... "Er...nothing. Sorry. I was only...startled. Pardon my rudeness."

Ooc: I will have you know an Ox can be a very fast and powerful creature, especially when it is angered. I'm glad you liked the compliment.
Ic: Trixice gritted her teeth behind those rusty, brown-painted lips. Her words were like ice, hinting a grave warning to the young man, yet he continued to edit her words and attempt corrections here and there. She pressed the shining edge of the blade harder against his vulnerable side; armour on his sides or not, there were always places where a young man did not wear armour.
"When one has any form of manner in them, they uphold pleasantries in any place, sir." She hissed, trailing his ear with hot breath. "Being on guard, as you presume you were, could you not tell I was an unarmed woman?" She questioned, testing his skill. "I carry no clinking metal, I wear no stiffening armour, and my stride is far lighter than any man's." She explained, hopefully teaching him a lesson or two to remember next time he pondered performing the same action.
Roughly letting go of his sword and dropping it back into it's hilt she stepped away from him and pulled her cloak together at it's front, adjusting her ruffled sleeves. "I mean you no harm until you give me reason to. If you plan to give me reason, by all means keep your weapons out." She warned with a cunning look in her eye.
Now she was toying with him. She had no intention of laying another hand on the young man unless he caused her to, which was very unlikely if he had any desire to keep his anatomy in place.

You've got to watch that one... We're back are we? NIce to know. I'm not completely stupid you know.Yes...its all very well for you to say taht but... Saphira watched the mysterious women with the careful eye she always had on her. Something about her stance, and once again, her aura wasn't....normal. She nearly shuddered in apprehenshion. She turned her head very slighty towards the young man, waiting for his reaction. Now his honor will speak for itself...tsk.Oh shut up.

Alezand smiled at the curtness and draft take this woman presented. "one doesn't need armor or weapons visable and/or audiable to be dangerous. However, I am no slayer of innocents. I come only looking for those who live to present pain and sorrow to the people of this good land. So I might give them a taste of justice, as well as my blade." He looked over his shoulder into the gathering gloom, "you may join me if you wish. If not, I must be on my way..." he trailed off, returning to his senses on alert to anything new. Occ: um, by the way, the hilt is the top of the handle on a sword. You can't "drop" my blade into its "hilt".

OOC: That is correct. You might drop the hilt of his sword and let it slide into it's sheath. Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm a maniac about swords. Kaldaka stood watching them from the forest, her face (what could be seen of it beneath the hooded cloak she wore) was without expression, almost wooden. Seeing that the meeting was about to end, she moved swiftly and silently. With a wink at Saphira, she stood behind the strange woman and carefully unsheathed her dagger, making sure there was no noise. Always best to be careful, she thought to herself. Beside, I don't know this particular woman, and she seems at least partially dangerous. Her thoughts rambled on without her really noticing them. Her curved dagger was now inches from the woman's neck. "Turn around slowly." Her voice was hard and cold. "None of this lady stuff. I'm a lady (or once was) myself, so that argument won't work. And be very careful." Her smirk only was evident as she added, "Your neck seems to fit my dagger quite well."

Alezands eyes had tracked the newcomers movement instantly. Before he could warn the woman in the hat, Kaldaka was upon her, a blade to her throat. This won't do he thought to himself, his mind racing to assess and solve the current situation. his hand was still resting on the pommel of his weapon. I can do it, but I must be careful. His eyes quickly assessed distance, arc and the positions of each player. "This was not what I had in mind today..." he uttered suddenly and with that he executed. Before the lady could turn, he whipped his blade out in a sweeping arc. As it passed by Saphira, it graced her hip, cutting the strap that bound the sheathed rapier to her side. As it fell, Alezand caught it deftly in his left hand. As he continued to sweep his sword up, he turned it broadside, catching the blade of the dagger and wrenching it from Kaldaka's hand, away from the woman's throat. He returned to a guard with his blade before flicking the sheath off the rapier to bring it to bear. "Now, lets try that again. You alright, m'lady?" he said with an edge of rage in his voice. He glared back and forth from Saphira to Kaldaka. "your move, though I do suggest you weigh your choices carefully. I am not one to be triffled with."

Saphira folded her arms in a haugty way. "Well, excuse me. I didn't do anything to anyone." panic was rising in side her. Her rapier. She eidn't like anyone else holding it. And it was quite apart from trifile or sentimental reasons. Kat.... No response. Answer me! I am your master! Kat!....
Oh god. How had she gotten into this fix? She should have known. She gritted her teeth.
