Viktor brushed the sand off of his brown coat, the terrain mages had outdone themselves with this arena. Instead of the dirt circle he had last fought in they had summoned a patch of desert to fight in. The false heat wa already causing him to sweat under his gear. He was no stranger to desert campaigns, but this could cause a problem for a warrior. A mage might have an advantage is an arena that favored standing still. However, with the sand they had brought the mushroom shaped stone pillars and the massive spiked plants native to that area. The cover would prove invaluable, and the spiked plant would serve to be a good offensive terrain feature.
He was still dressed in his garb as Vik, the poor soldier. His plain features and dirty appearance still hid his talent and kept his actual identity a deep secret. He was not ready to reveal it until the last match. Which meant not summoning to shadow to aid him. He would deal with this fact as he went. His sword was sharp, and light in his grip, he gave it a few flips with his wrist. A plain steel sword, but plenty to carve his way through his next opponent.
He picked some of the sand up in his hand and rubbed it on his palm. Soon he would leave this hellish arena and would conquer his next foe.

Evee walked out onto the arena grounds, ready for round two. She wasn't sure if this win would be so easy. She knew that she would have to do her very best. 'Believe in yourself Evee.....' She told herself confidently. As she got closer to her fighting spot, Evee could see her opponent. It was Viktor Delacro. Someone she never in a million years thought she'd go up against.
She went and stood a comfortable distance away from him but in front of him. Evee then bowed and stood up straight again. " It is an honor to duel with you sir Viktor." She said with a slight smile, ready to fight. Evee didn't trust her powers to give her a clean victory but she did trust them enough to give her a good battle. Still, she wasn't afraid to lose. A losing battle would be something she would learn from.

"Who's Viktor?" Vik said quizzically to the young upstart. His disguise was fine, but this girl had seen his face before. He would have to brush it off as a play of her imagination. His coat blew in the dry desert wind.
His eyes glared hard at her, partially squinted against the blowing sand.
"Are you just going to stand there talking?"

"Well, aren't we impatient? Fine, let's go...." She said erasing her pleasant smile faster than you could say sun. Evee closed her eyes and opened her arms as if she was conjuring up something dead from it's grave. Evee had somethings planned for her opponent but she would really have to be on her toes for her plans to succeed.
A hint of pushing winds swirled around her feet creating a sort of whirlwind around her. Then, she clasped both of her hands together as if she was in prayer. Suddenly, she snapped her eyes open and shouted out a spell that sounded threatening. "RELISIS!!!!" Evee shouted with intent to kill. Though she was only level two now, she was sure this spell would only do it's damage with a little longer affect. A white sphere of light shot out of her hands and straight toward her enemy. She had tried this before in her last match but her opponent didn't get a chance to defend.
Relisis was a spell that made it's enemies believe and feel that they were fatally wounded, even though the person would be perfectly fine. This only lasted about 5 minutes when she was on level one. Each level she goes up, 5 more minutes are added onto her spells. Now this spell would last for 10 minutes. It wasn't much but it gave her time to focus more of her energy to do another attack or protect spell. Not that she needed that much time.

While his magic opponent went through the all too painstakingly slow process of spellcasting he had already tensed for action. When all she shot was a simple globe of energy was all she shot he was dissapointed. He deftly dodged the globe with a practiced step that has dodged magic, arrows, and catapault stones a thousand times before. As it flew by he felt a twinge of severe pain, but it quickly faded as it left.
So she wanted to play with mental spells. That was a deadly mistake, but first she would have to hit him.
He rolled and dashed to the nearest stone pillar. He have to hop from pillar to pillar until her energy was depleted or he could get a clear charge.

After 3 days of inactivity (actually, it is almost 4. I'll make up for that with a pun), I declare Viktor the viktor!
