Youngling (David)

[Eranni of the Northtower Clan]

Eranni sipped at her drink lightly, unsure if she liked the strong taste of ale just yet. her cousin had dragged her to this tavern as a 'reward' for surviving her first week.

Only problem was... her cousin had dissapperd a while ago, and Eran knew not many in this new city.

[David Augustine]

David entered the tavern. This was the first time he was here in a very long time. It still had the same stench that it had so long ago. The barwaitress saw him when he walked in and approached David as soon as he entered.

"Good evening and welcome to my tavern, good sir." she said with a small bow, "Now I never forget a face of someone who enters my tavern once and you look awfully familiar. So what is your name?"

"Hello, I'm David Augustine." replied David but was cut off as he was fixing to continue talking. She appearently remembered him when he was a little boy and her father was running the tavern back then. She just wouldn't stop talking. She kept talking about his father and how they used to come in together every so often. David grew bored of this quickly. "Um, excuse please." he told her as he left her there and took a seat next to Eranni.

Eran looked up at the newcomer, her tankard at her lips. She had seen the man around the barracks, and knew his as a warrior. Still she didn't speak, finding herself shy around so many loud (and likely drunk) strangers.

[David Augustine]

David looked down at the girl he sat down next to. She was dressed like a warrior, but she didn't look like she belonged here. He grabbed her tankard and set it on the bar next to them. "You don't want to drown from ale or do you?" he asked her, "You can't drink that stuff like that. Its not as good if you drink it that fast."

Eran blinked, "How do you know how much I've drank?" She asked, a slight scowl on her face.

[David Augustine]

"I didn't. I assumed and you were holding that tankard to your lips for a very long time while staring at me." David replied. He then turned and toward the bar and looked around the place. He then saw a fight break out between two warriors and saw them quickly escourted outside. He shook his head and sighed. "This place hasn't changed a bit."

Eran blushed slightly, "I wasn't starring." She mumbled. She pressed hair from her eyes, "You come here lots?"

[David Augustine]

"No, I don't." David replied, "It has been a very long time since I've been at this tavern. I used to come here with my father on ocasion while I was a small lad."

Eran nodded, then blinked as she realized she didn't even know the name of the man. "I'm Eranni of the Northtower Clan, by the way." She said, offering her hand.

[David Augustine]

David took her hand and shook it. "I'm David Augustine, son of Jonathan Augustine, who was leader of the Crimson Brigrade during the Crusades."

[Eranni of the Northtower Clan]

Eran's eyes widdened, she had of course heard the tales of Jonathan Augustine. She breathed out slowly, "Then I am honored." She bowed her head slightly.

[David Augustine]

"There is no need for me being bowed down to." David told her, "I'm just a warrior, who is on a journey to find something that is thought lost."

[Eranni of the Northtower Clan]

Eran turned to him a bit, much more intrested. "And what would that be?" She asked.

[David Augustine]

"My father." David replied simply, "If you have heard of him, then you must have heard of his disappearance in his the last crusade he particpated in."

[Eranni of the Northtower Clan]

Eran nodded, "Aye, my father told me the story." She brushed hair from her eyes. Mind, in her tale, this man's father had died in the crusade.
