A newcomer stepped confidently into the area of conflict around him.Around him people were moving swiftly between each other. He found himself a seat, he ordered a bottle of Moet and Chandon Champagne, he sat in what felt like a puddle of sorrow, he couldn't believe he left his homeland for this dump. His melancholy ended when he saw his lover pull up a seat beside him.

Saphira sat down, her usual sardonic expression deserting her features. She sat for a moment, silence stretching like some mist between the person opposite and her own person. She laid one pale finger on the table top, rough and wooden, but seemed so polished under her light touch. Still, no conversations passed between her lips. At last, the mist seemed to clear like morning dew drops upon the frost bitten ground. "Hello."

He was pleased to once again be in the presence of such a beauty, he replied with a graceful, smooth voice, "Hello, Its so splendid to see you again." He took her hand and kissed her gently like a flower swaying in the warm summer wind.

Saphira smiled pleasantly, her usually dark and cold eyes bright like the moonlight shining, shimmering along witht eh waves upon a dark october ocean that was unusualy smooth and quiet. Different and dark. "Vice versa...." her voice trailed off. It had been so long since she had talked or indeed seen her own race. Her stupid brother did not count of course. She lent fowards, taking a small sip of champagne. Her favourite among things she fancied. He must know that... The flute glass made no audible sound as it was put gently upon the roughened table top. However, Saphira just imagined there had been a single, crystal note, struck and vibrating through her heart.

Guinivini watched the graceful Saphira sip her smooth tasting champagne, he wondered how on earth he had landed up with a beauty such as this. Once there conversation had ended and the bottle of champagne dry, he stood up and took the hand of this fair maiden. He then asked her, "so what next?" Guinivini waited anxiously...

Saphira put down the wine glass and stood lithely. "I'm not sure..." she took his hand and they walked towards the tavern doors. They had only agreed to meet there. "Should we go somewhere out side..." she trailed off vaguely. Not like her at all...but some people changed others. And bring out personalities that were usually...hidden in darkness. Like the flikering of a lone candle in shadowy winds. They arrived out into the bright sunlight of the market square.
