Riley looked to her again and nodded.
"Ah..well then perhaps your intelligence and beauty is better used on a battle field than in a house".
In his honest opinion, there was alot to this young woman. He couldn't quite place it, but he kept having this feeling that she was destined to greatness, just as his father had been. That was one secret most did not know of his parents, they were both warriors, who defeated an evil corrupt man with an army his father lead. In truth he had felt obligated to follow in his father's foot steps, but he would be happy to for the adventure.

"Perhaps..." she said, bowing her head slightly as she spoke.
Her mother had died when she was born and her father, just a few months ago. He was always explaining to her that her place was in the home, not on a battle field. She had never listen, her mother's stubborn attitude caring through to her only child.

Riley listened to the rest of the King's address and smiled.
"A feast, that seems wonderful. What do you think? Perhaps a feast is just we need, rise our spirits up alittle. Well more like for me to talk to those I have already met".

"I think a rise in my spirits wouldn't hurt..." she said sighing lightly. She ran a finger over the amulet hanging from her neck. She smiled at Riley again, her eyes growing lighter.

Riley's eyes caught sight of the amulet and felt compelled to ask.
"I am to guess that was your mother's Lady Guinevere?"
He was hoping he wasn't asking too many questions of his new friend or aquaintance. His father always told him to know as much as you could about your friends. It would be that knowledge that may one day come in handy.

"Yes... I recieved this on the eve of my sixteenth birthday. Sadly, my mother had died when I was born. Her last wish was that I recieve this amulet..." she said, placing a hand over it. It hurt her to talk about her mother. The pain in her eyes was visible.

Riley could see the pain in her eyes and didn't wish to ask anything else on the sunject. He just ended it with a warm comforting smile and a reply.
"Well alittle comfort my mother told me to believe. Your mother is a brave and magnificent woman to give her own life so that you would have the chance to live and do her proud to call you her daughter".

As she listened to his words, she smiled.
"You right... I have heard stories of my mother, Lady Cassandra. She married my father who was a knight." she said smiling. "I guess thats what he wanted me to do, be known as Lady Guinevere Viperatus and marry a knight like she did."

"Maybe... but only if they coose to award a woman such as myself that great honor." she said softly. Her voice was almost always gentle, floating on the breeaze to those to whom she spoke. But on a battlefield you could tell her intensity by the look in her fierce green eyes.

Riley smiled and bowed his head.
"I already that the there is such a title and honor to a woman, that is the original reason for Lady if made a knight. As it was in King Arthur's court. I do believe that in your excellence of skills and integrity, you shall become a knight if you wish as so".
