Taliesin raised his blazing sword into the sun, the dragon roared as a jet stream of flame flew towards him, but he was too quick as the enchanted shield of allemi block the majority yet what was left singed the hairs off his arm causing a shield to drop, the dragon roared in triumph as his mouth lowered down ready to bite down, the saliva dripping onto the young hero’s face. Wack “You’ll never because a master shoe maker at this rate, always dreaming of things that are for great men not a little pipsqueak like yourself who gets himself more in trouble than his worth….such as the time you were showing off your swordplay skills on a well and fell in, we had to….” After that Taliesin kind of drifted out, it had been the fifth time he had been hit and each time he had heard the same story. How he wanted to be out there in a real live battle fighting off creatures of uncontainable cruelty and malice. He could still hear his father mumbling under his breath. Tap, tap, tap with the little silver hammer, he was never going to get out of this place by working. “Welcome..” he heard his father say to a customer, this was a usual sign to Taliesin that he was to be quiet. His father would get his wish, but not the way wanted… there was only one positive thing about his height and that was being able to get out of tight situations such as this job… the whole shop was a old wooden shack, and Taleisin knew exactly where the weak spots were, removing a single plank made it possible for Taliesin to fit though it due to his small thin frame, and with the first sign of freedom he bolted into the crowd.

Nathaniel started, after seeing the figure run, seemingly out of nowhere. Then among the dusty smoke of the market air, he noticed the shop, and its plank built walls. He smiled to himself. That was how he seemed to appear. The stranger was still within sight and Nathaniel, with nothing better to do, walked up to him from behind. Then, using instinct, seeing as he thought this young man was running away from something-his body language said it all-he grabbed his shoulder.

The run had tired Taliesin out as he puffed and heaved in air… this would never do, he would have to step up on his training. He started to do a victory dance at that fact he had the rest of the afternoon to do what ever he pleased, perhaps what real warriors practice. When a feeling of dread fell over him and a hand grabbed at his shoulder. “I… I was chasing a thief, who stole a sole honestly they just appeared out of no where and grabbed the sole, but I couldn’t let you miss out the money that… that sole would have made you once I made it into the sole” His said very quickly and trying to think just as quick. It wasn’t that Taliesin didn’t want to get fired in fact he would love it but working for a father meant no supper and more chores.

Nathaniel smiled, his lip lifting at the edge. So this young man was of a smiths' line or something else of the like...now he knew. "Wouldn't let me miss out on the money?" his elvin features seemed to raidiate apparent laughter, though no sound passed his lips that would have hinted so. "How very kind. Though we both know that was not the case, lets not dwell on the matter." Nathaniel grinned more widely. "Nice to meet you, young sir...."

As soon as the man started talking Taliesin recognized it wasn’t his father, for one the voice wasn’t husky and gruff enough and it had been his father he would of boxed his ears for laying and then again for running of. At first he was still a little weary but upon studying his grin Taliesin burst out in laughter. “You should have seen me… I pulled moves like Doren the thief… finding a small hole, people everywhere yet nobody noticed, my father has almost six eyes ad hearing like a wolf” of course Taliesin’s way of explaining things always contained exaggeration but that had always made his stories more interesting. “I’m no sir… not yet anyway, the word seems to give off dignity and experience but I have neither, the names Taliesin… I would say my last name but on the off chance you tell me pa… but its nice to meet you too sir…” He was trying to be polite but had never quite grasped it maybe as he aged it would get easier.
Occ: Don’t worry my character will grow up as he goes threw the levels. At least that’s the plan at the moment his a little excitable and idealstic.

Nathaniel laughed lightly, this time, with audibility as well. And unlike his other half, the smile reached his eyes. And so did his good humour. Though truth be told, he could get a little overly polite and formal. This case, he tried to appear casual. He felt suddenly very self conscious in his present, expensive garments. It seemed a bit too...different. And he liked blending in with the crowd. "Nice to meet you too, Taliesin-if you wouldn't mind me saying so, your name has quite a style to it. Very unique." he complemented with practiced ease. He looked around. Even with his senses, the noises and smells were too over whelming to pick out a single figure. "And if you wouldn't mind, I think we better move away. Your Father you were running away from may have already discovered your Doren the Theif escapede."

“Well spoken my dear man, since I have had a bit freedom for the time being in till tonight, then I believe I may end up sleeping in the stables… but that’s the future and this is now” Taliesin looked around quickly but he already knew that he had gotten away with it. “So what shall we do? I don’t believe I have met one as yourself are you a elf, my ma use to tell me stories… I mean I cant read, there was never any reason for my parents to send a future shoe maker out to learn, but my ma was really quite learnt and she told me about the elves and the pointed ears” he was to excited to realize that what he had said would be considered rude and it was only a few moments later he had realized his mistake. “Oh…i..um…hmm” trying to think of a way to recover.

Nathaniel's features seemed to withdraw, becoming suddenly quite cold. He didn't really mind people knowing he was elvin...it was just sort of... Well. his race was rather in the minority. And some people didn't like his race to say the least. But his usual, pleasnt expression came back onto this features with ease. Well, with a little effort. He blushed slightly. "Well....yes. Pointed years." One reason his hair was not cut too short too. But he didn't state this out loud. "But other than that, we looked....ok." he laughed shortly. "So, Human boy, he said teasingly, would you like a drink then? I don't think you would have tasted champagne before..." he left the sentence hanging irrestibly in the air for a response.

Taliesin laughed “hey its cool… I didn’t mean, well it as a bad thing, we have round ears your race must see them as pretty weird…” he paused for a moment. “Did I just put my foot in it again, but this human boy would love some…what was it… champagne my pointy eared friend… mind you I had my first ale yesterday so this week is getting interesting" he laughed.

Nathaniel swallowed nervously and looked around. However, he did not voice his concerns to this young boy. "Alright then," he said, pleasantly, "Would you like to have it...in your dwelling or in the tavern? Or else where? Do you have a preference?"

Taliesin shrugged. “I believe the Tavern should be the best spot, may be best to stay away from my dwellings as of yet” he smiled. ((occ: Well I guess we met there now I think this thread has been pushed to all it can do, ))
