In times of peace, like it had been during her whole life, the city walls were a place Mira came to think, to reminisce, and to hide away from the life she held. Sometimes she hated her life, with all the things her parents expected of her, all the suitors who drooled over her behind her back, and acted ridiculous to her face. Her parents wouldn’t even let her take fencing or basic magic lessons. She truly led a sheltered life, cut off from the world.
And here she was, walking slowly across the tops of the city walls under the dark sky and bright moon and stars. Her sky blue light dress whipped around her ankles in the mild breeze, which wasn’t very cold for the time of year. She had sandals of a darker blue on her feet, and her hair was pulled back into a high bun with wisps escaping from its sides.
After a moment she stopped walking and turned to face the inside of the walls, seeing a few candles twinkling in windows or on the streets. She also heard the quick clop of a horse in a trot, and the memories of her accident flooded into her mind. She shivered from the memory rather than the cold, and continued walking.

Evee was out for a walk tonight, just thinking about Maril. He was constantly on her mind when they were apart. she thought perhaps she could go to the city wall and clear her mind, at least then she wouldn't miss him so much...Evee had never felt so stongly about someone before, maybe that's why she didn't care about the thoughts of him drilling her brain...
When she came upon the wall. she saw that she wouldn't be the only one reminiscing tonight. A young woman wearing a sky blue dress and dark blue sandals was standing near the wall appearing to be looking out at the city light. Evee approached her, her long red-wine colored dress brushed her toes as she walked. Her hair flew behind her like a misguided spirit, and her hazel eyes almost seemed to glow in the moon's light.
Evee came up to the girl standing a respectable distance away from her. Before she spoke, she looked up at the stars to admire their beauty first. Evee wrapped her cloak around her which was the same color as her dress. "I see I am not the only one with a clouded mind tonight." She said with a slight smile but still staring up at the stars.

The stars and the moon were really sparkling, Mia noticed with a small, crooked smile as she gazed up at them. A slight breeze blew across her red, curly at the moment tresses, and Mira absently reached up a hand to suppress them from flying out behind her. The wind subsided soon enough and she let go, letting her hair fall back into place.
It was then when she heard the soft rustle of the skirts of a dress, and some soft footsteps behind her. She turned as a female voice spoke, and looked at the speaker. The girl was wearing a red dress and had hazel eyes. She looked around Mira’s age, maybe even slightly older.
Mira nodded in agreement with the girl. “Yes, you’re right. This is where I come to think and get away from everything. Is that your reason as well?” she asked her politely, turning her whole body instead of just her face and facing the girl.

Evee smiled pleasantly at the girl and walked up next to her before she replied," Yes. That is my reason as well. This is the perfect place to come and think you know? I had to come here tonight, it's so beautiful out..." Said Evee looking away from the girl and back up at the stars, they glowed so beautifully. They were like diamonds in the sky.
Evee doesn't have any female friends, they didn't seem to like her much. Every since she was little, girls would pick on her and call her names for no reason at all. Evee was adorable as a child, she couldn't understand why they were so mean. Maybe they were bitter towards her because of her beauty. Or because she isn't originally from Avaren. But this girl seemed nice and Evee didn't mind freindly conversation.
Being a seventeen Yr. old in these times, all you could really have are male friends. Because some of the village women were heartless, ruthless...Also the men were good for the protection thing. Evee never needed a man to protect her unless it was a situation that was out of her hands.
She wondered if this girl she was speaking to shared some simalarities, "Evee Natalia, What's your name?" Evee wasn't sure where this small talk would lead her but she hopped that she would make a new friend who thankfully wasn't some drooling guy.

“Yes, it is.” Mira agreed with a soft smile, gazing up at the stars. “It’s so pretty, and if you face away from the city you can sometimes feel like you’re the only person in the world. On windy days, if you don’t focus on your feet, then it can feel like you’re flying.” she added almost as an afterthought, not caring if the girl thought she was stupid or not.
Mira, completely opposite from Eve, only had female friends. For all seventeen years of her life she had only played and talked and gossiped with girls her age. She hadn’t really spoken to any boys her age until last year- when her parents had held her coming out ball. Then the only men she had met were all idiots who drooled and stared at her, and tried to propose countless times. Stupid suitors.
Now, however, things were really different. Her parents were constantly busy trying to get her off and married to someone, and to help her get over the problems that had happened with her accident. If you watched her walk carefully, then you might notice the slightest limp in her walk.
“I’m Mira… Mira Nightingale.” Mira replied. “It’s nice to meet you Eve.”

OOC: Sorry it took me so long to post, busy days ^_^
"It's nice meeting you too Mira..." Evee looked out at the city and admired it's eternal beauty. She hopped that this would be her home for a very long time, but not forever. Evee wanted to travel. She had been raised in Avaren, and she was ready to see new places. There's no telling how many other beautifull places there are that she's never even seen. Evee wondered how her people in Nefaria fared, she hadn't spoken to any of her family that she had left for years now. She really missed her Grandparents, they were the king and queen of Nefaria. Ruling isn't an easy job so of course she wanted to know if things were in order.
The wind grew cold but her heart and soul remained warm. She tightened her grip on her cloak to keep herself warm. "Mira, is Avaren your home land?" Just out of curiosity she had to ask. There are alot of interesting people in Avaren, everyone was different.

The wind grew a little colder, and Mira crossed her arms to retain the warmth she had been enjoying a moment before. It was only on these walls that the wind and the temperature could change so quickly, it seemed.
Eve spoke again, and Mira turned toward her, nodding her head slightly in agreement. “Yes, it is. I was born and raised here, and all my life have not left.”
That was too true. All she wanted to do was get away and travel, and to break free of her parents’ annoying hold over her. They were too strict, and Mira hated it, even though she knew that they only wanted what’s best for her. “What about you, Eve?” she asked the girl, “Is Avaren your home land?”
(OOC: So sorry it took forever… but I’m back now!)
