Riding outside the city walls wandering

[Riley Lambert]

Riley patted Lightning's head and sighed to himself. He was alittle worried to re-enter the gates because he was somehow scared that his absence had caused her to move on.

He had been called back hom by his father to aid his brother with something. His father had been disappointed to hear of him loosing the battle in the tournament, but wasn't for too long. They all were proud and happy at the man he had become and it was that thought that made him smile abit more.

He rode slowly around the wall, thinking silently to himself, trying to calm his fears.

IC:

Evee was roaming around the town just admiring the beauty of the place, no worries or fears. She was inside all day and figured enough was enough. Not really aiming for a particular place to go, she wandered aimlessly near the city walls. While she was walking, she hear the feet of a horse drawing nearer and nearer.

She didn't panic nor did she attempt to ready her powers. Evee looked up and saw a man riding upon the horse she heard and she stopped walking. She stood very still and watched as the man just rode around, as if he was just bored. Or maybe something was bothering him. Keeping her friendly nature inside this time, she just watched the dark figure ride on his horse.

Evee wasn't expecting for him to come near her and try to harm her but she still kept her distance. If only she could see the man's face more she would be able to see if it was someone she knew or heard about around town.

Riley Soon brought his horse into a walk as he continued to wander abit. He soon saw someone standing in the distance, seeming to watch him. He lightly kicked lightning and he ran towards the figure. He slowed the closer he got and then stopped.

"You are? " he asked.

[Evee~Natalia]

Evee was a bit shaken by the way he haulted in front of her. He was so high up on the horse and she looked like a child compared to him on the horse. She stared up at him studying his features. She had seen him at the feast, with his love, Guinevere. That night, she was there dancing with her love, Maril Mazmo. Which now he hasn't been around. She missed him dearly...

"I, am Evee Natalia sir....Who might you be?" She asked with a little bit of hesitance in her voice. The way he had spoken to her, she thought that maybe she had intruded on his alone time.

Riley soon smiled and demounted, standing next to her. He bowed his head in respect before replying.

"Riley Lambert..Sorry if I may have scared you lady Evee".

Evee returned his kind smile and nodded her head as a thanks for bowing to her. She was messing with her fingers while she was in thought, and still was. She stopped and put her hands behind her back embarrassed like. " Nice to meet you Sir Riley. I am sorry we never spoke at the feast, my apologies. I was with a special someone as you were as well."

She said with a smile. That special someone was now gone for the most part and Evee had became alone, but not alone. The most she could do now is keep her spirits up by visiting friends and going places. Evee's worst fear is being alone...She had been alne since she was six years old.

Riley nodded and continued to smile.

"Well its quite alright, I believe we are both at an equal that night. I was with someone quite special to me as well".

[Evee~Natalia]

Evee smiled, happy that she's found a possible new friend with something in common. She wanted to see what he thought of the whole thing with Maril being gone so, she asked...."I want to ask your opinion, My Maril hasn't been around for a long time now and....I don't know what I should do...Do you think I should just keep waiting like this? Or move on as a single woman again?" She had to ask someone before she burst. She was losing all hope in Maril.

Riley felt something inside him think the worst of Guinevere.

"In my honest answer, if you honestly love him and he loves you in return, then wait for him..If not then let it be a test of him that you are deeply hurt at his absence. I seem to have the worry of the latter. I had to leave without a proper good bye and for such a long time that I fear that my own love may not take me back".

[Evee~Natalia]

Evee looked at Riley very sadly with compassion. " Really? I'm sorry to hear that...I wish the best of luck to you both then," She paused " I'm afraid it is too late for me and Maril.....I must continue in my search for my parents murderers without him." She said looking away from his eyes. She was really torn up inside that her lover had been gone for so long, leaving her feeling empty in a sense.

Riley nodded to her and thought to himself for a brief moment.

"Well then if you wish, I could offer my assistance if your searching? Being a Lambert, I guess I have a knack to wish to see justice served for such crime".

[Evee~Natalia]

Evee smiled in a hopefull and gratefull matter before answering him. " No, I believe that everything happens for a reason. Maybe He is just, not the one..." She paused with a now sad smile. " I thank you for offering your assisstance no less sir Riley." She said with a bow then looked back up at him.

She wondered just how bad things could get, how bad things were between he and guinevere. If those two had problems, then anything s possible and impossible is nothing. Those two seem like the perfect couple, at least that's what Evee saw that night at the banquet hall....

"Its a pleasure to offer it", he said.

He thought for a brief moment and saw the look in her eyes.

"Perhaps, but then again we can't always trust fate. As for me, I just wish my love hasn't been so lonely that she has seeked company in another for love, but I know somewhere in my heart its my fears".

[Evee~Natalia]

" I wouldn't worry, your love for each other is strong. This too shall pass." Evee just realized she gave someone else the best advice that she should follow herself. This made sense but, she wasn't going to wait for anyone.

[Riley Lambert]

Riley nodded.

"I know..and as for you, my friend, waiting for someone can tell you two things; either you aren't destined to him or that you love him deeply".
