The Library, a place Evee had been only a few times but not recently. Evee came into the library holding her arms behind her back with one of her hands holding her reading glasses in the other. She attained this rare item from her grandparents when she sent them a letter telling them she couldn't read their small hand writting very well in their letters.
Coming into the library hall, she looked around and saw only a few people reading at some of the tables. Others were finding a book to start reading. There was dead silence besides the turning of pages and calm breaths from the many readers around the library. The candles on the walls of the library were dim and the flames danced backward when the library door opened then closed.
Evee went to her favorite isle of books in the far back of the library, all the books in these isle talked about legendary mage powers. She took a keen liking to these books for some reason, not because she was a mage, but because when she read the stories of other mage's feelings they got when they discovered their most powerfull abilities, she could relate to them.
Evee searched the shelves with curious eyes and finally found a book that caught her eyes, 'Destructive Awakenings, by Elizabeth Emand' She took the book from the shelf with an eager smile and quickly went and found a seat at an empty table. She put on her reading glasses then began reading...

Saphira slid a pile of heavy volumes she had been reading over the past few weeks onto the counter to be returned, then walked towards the back of the library. You know...you can just ask me...I know everything you would ever want to know about demons and neuromancing...I'm sure you do Kat. The only problem is, you won't tell the truth.Hmmm...that is a problem. Saphira sighed audibly with fustration and half reluctant humour. The shelves towered above her like buildings, their shadows heavy with the scent of knowledge, their polished wood dark and mysterious. She loved the library. The books. And what they held. Making her way down the asile, eyes darting over the prints on the once new covers. Her deep blue black eyes setteled on one volume..Provectus atrum veneficus de'mens Using a simple levitating spell, the book slid out of its place on the shelf, causing the other books to lean slightly to their left or right in a not so tidy fashion, and flew neatly into her hand. Book obtained, Saphira walked on into the next asile in serch of a reading place, a satisfied smile on her sharp features.

Evee heard some chatter but did not turn her gaze away from her book. With every word she became more intrigued with this book. She was surely going to check it out to read it at home. The book spoke of a woman who was a mage, not in title, but in power. She didn't know until her powers awakened one day and it was devestating. Reaing this, Evee hoped that there wasn't a dangerous power she held within herself that she didn't know about. She would surely try to control it if she did have a deadly power.
