Nathaniel led Aiedil into the gates, silver reins in his right hand so that he may talk to Duilya. "Yes. Aiedil will be quite capable," he glared playfully into the horses's eyes, "Won't you stupid?" The horse bumped him with his head. He shoved her back. She nearly knocked him to the ground, then took off in a cheerful yet cheeky canter. He whistled then, though he did not intend it to be, and he valued speaking english in front of others as a top-of-his-list manner, in the sudden rush of contentedness, he went back to his mother tongue-elvish. "Come back you silly horse! My things! Oi!" He shook his head, laughing, then continued to walk. "Don't worry," he said in elvish, turning to Duilya. THen he stopped, face gathering colour. "Oh. Sorry. I mean't, Dont worry. I'll get her later. And my things too...anyway."
he coughed awkwardly. Then decided to change the subject. "Your father was ill? How is he now?"

Nathaniel walked up behind her. "Well. You have my empathy." he laied one light hand on her shoulder. "Losing someone is always hard. And they don't have to pass away into the other realm for one to feel the loss." His voice didn't change. Neither did his expression. But his eyes did. But it wasn't light, so it was hardly noticeable.

Duilya smiled thankfully yet still stayed silent. She had noticed and had a feeling that he had meant something by the fact relatives don’t need to pass on… but thought that she didn’t want to get asked to many questions so she wouldn’t do the same thing. “So what sort of Mage are you or do you want to become?” She asked now she was trying to find a new topic, looking everywhere but at Nathaniel. The fire lighting warmed the room up a few degrees. A small cat ran past. Wondering if it was a familiar or an illusion or something else. This was a good enough thing to concentrate on. Things had changed since the dancing to the flute.

He noticed the sudden change of subject but understood and did not speak anything of it. He conjured up a chair and sat down. Another appeared opposite him. "Well," he said, thinking. "I don't know really...I wasn't even going to be a mage before my sister...well." he sighed and seemed to laugh shortly. There was no laughter in the air however. "Maybe an illusionist? I'm not really the pursuing type...adventures are soo tiring."

“If you’re a illusionist how do I know that chair is really there” she teased before sitting. She sat thinking for a moment. “I don’t believe in looking for trouble but some things are worth pursuing and worth getting and being involved” She shrugged, before herself laughing. “We are both holding our secrets very well aren’t we, both batting around the bush, is there any topic that would be safe to talk about such as music and arts… I would talk about sports but I’m afraid I wouldn’t be any good talking about tournaments and such” She grinned trying to get the previous atmosphere back.

Nathaniel smiled pleasantly. He lent forwards. "Actually, I simply levitated those chairs." he waved a hand over to the corner and winked. "I cheat." his eyes flickered a friendly fire. "Arts.." he said at last, after she had spoken. "Well. You dance, you sing. What else do angel's do?"

Duilya laughed. “Well hopefully not fly” Smile she a little worried he was about to lift her chair up. “My wings have been clipped so I’m afraid that ability is gone now, but I do enjoy drawing, in fact that is what you disturbed me from earlier and I believe I even have a picture of you before we even met” She laughed the coughed. “not that I’m stalker or anything” She undid bag and pulled out a couple of pages a and passed it over, slightly nervous of his reaction. “Other than that this angel is pretty ordinary… next step is learning magic so I can turn that into an art”

Nathaniel took the picture, his face gathering colour into its usually pale stance. It was quite good. He looked it over. "You want to use magic in arts? Do you know how to conjure a fraith?"

Duilya watched his face closely as he looked over the pictures. It was more than likely a bad idea to show the pictures, cause god only knows what sort of person he thought she was…. What kind of person draws strangers, yet it was only due to the shapes and atmosphere and the way he had blended into his surroundings that got her to draw it. She almost missed he question as she sat there in her mind telling herself off. “Yes, such as the shapes and designs you could make, if you could control ice and fire imagine the sculptures you could make.” She said in a dreamy voice, it wasn’t her only reason she wanted to learn to become a mage but it was a positive to her wish. “But I have never even attempted to conjure anything…. Never mind a Fraith” She blushed slightly. “Not that I know what they are”

Nathaniel passed her drawing back. "Its an image created by magic. It doesn't have to be real." he paused, thinking. "The first fraith that one makes is probably blurred. Or of their emotions." He thought about it a bit more. "Would you like to make one now? I think I have a spare..." he trailed off.

Duilya looked curiously at him and then shook her head. “I don’t know if I would like that… it seems a little to personal if you want to bury a feeling or memory you can’t guarantee that it wouldn’t be expressed. Plus I like to know that this is my own work, call it artist pride.” She smiled trying not to sound snobbish but she had spent most of her live trying to learn to draw and the though of someone summing something and automatically good drove you crazy cause that would mean she has wasted her time. “So what other things do you do other than play the flute”

Nathaniel raised an eyebrow. "Walk and talk?" then laughed. "Well. Archery and swordplay, and a bit of magic. I can also ride, but then, many people can. Why do you ask?"

“I don’t know, I guess it was just unfair that you seem to be learning a lot about me and yet I don’t know anything about you other than you have a sister, play the flute and own a horse” Duilya laughed as putting her stuff back into her bag. “Anyway not everyone can ride…. I never learnt but it will be on my to do list” She shrugged, he father had never allowed them to have a horse because of himself falling off one as he was few young and breaking his leg. So she had worked more with working dogs.

Duilya smiled. “Good at taking suttle hints, bravo not many males are” She joked back. “We need to make things fair after all.” And she sat back putting her fingers together and trying hard to make herself look like a psychologist.
