Praying

[Suki Muria]

Suki walked quietly into the empty chapel.Letting one, and one only, tear drip from his eye, he knealed down to a banister, praying to his lord.His thoughts remained to nothing but of worshiping his lord.Not a singled sound hit his soft ear.

After a moment or two, Suki opened his eyes.Wiping his eyes, he sat on the ground, and thought of where he should travel to.He placed his chin on his hand thinking hard.

[Persephone DeVone]

Persephone walked into the chapel, her long silver blonde hair down and flowing gracefully around her. Her eyes were saddned for she had come to pray over the loss of her family. Even though it had happened so many years ago, she had never really ever gotten over it, and she often returned to the temple for comfort.

But as she reached banister to kneel, she saw another there, and tears were falling from his eyes. She wanted to ask him something, but knew that whatever she said wouldn't come out right, and in the end would bring about more pain.

"Sometime's it's better to let your tears flow freely..."

Her words were soft and her green eyes were gentle and serene.

[Guinevere Viperatus]

Guinevere walked in. She kneeled momentraily, praying. She lifted her head up, her thoughts on her mother. She stood up, letting the emerald green silk of her dress fall back down.

[Suki Muria]

Turning to a girl, who looked like a mage, he actuially smiled."Well, thank you"he smirked."It's nice to see another praying"he nodded, and looking over her head seeing another."And another"he smiled waving to the other girl."So, might I ask, brings you here to pray about?"

[Guinevere Viperatus]

"My parents... both are dead." she said. "I pray that they both watch over and protect me and the others that I care for..." she said softly.

[Suki Muria]

Suki gave her a pat on the back."I'm sorry""he replied warmly."My family died in a fire,except for my son.I'm on a quest to find him"he nodded."I need help from God"he smiled.

[Guinevere Viperatus]

"My mother died giving her only child life... I'm training to become a warrior to honor her." she said softly, looking at the sword that hung from her hip.

[Suki Muria]

Suki smiled."My,thats mighty nice"he nodded."and you look like a fine warrior"he said looking her over.

[Guinevere Viperatus]

"I will never be as good as my father..." she said, resting a hand upon the handle of her sword.

[Avean Luxenbourg]

Avean had been in the corner, kneeling on the cold floor. Her legs crossed and eyes closed. A murmur could be heard from her mouth.

[Kaldaka/Traveller]

Kaldaka entered the room slowly, her head bent down and covered by the hood of her black cloak. Crossing through the alleys, she passed Guinever and two others she had not seen before and nodded her head, her thoughts only on the peace that praying here brought her.

[Persephone DeVone]

"I pray for my parents. They were killed in a raid upon my village. And for my twin who lays in unending slumber. She's in a coma."

Persephone looked at those who had also joined in the chapel. They seemed so sincere and deep in prayer, and she wondered if she had looked anything like that...ever.

Sephe turned to the other woman who had become a warrior.

"Strength is the only thing we have sometimes..."

*Selena walked into the chapel her long brown hair flowing behind her in curls. She went to a corner and knelt beside a chair and cried silently for her parents who had died in a murder scene and her brother that had been gone for 10 years.*

[Persephone DeVone]

Persephone looked at those around her. She thought she saw a familar face, and glimpse of brown curls. She thought it must be Selena who had come to the chapel, and had a feeling that she was here for her lost family. But so were they all. Most of the people here had suffered hurt and loss. They all seemed to understand the silence so filled with prayers and, some of them, hope.

She got up though and strode to Selena, bent down and prayed next to her. She knew Selena knew she could talk to her if she had a problem.

*Selena felt someone beside her and knew from the scent in her hair that it was Persephone. She had beautiful hair. She looked up at her and smiled weakly. She couldnt speak but hoped that she didnt need to. She could feel all the hurt and feelings in the chapel at that time. Most had lost loved ones like she had. She bent her head again and prayed this time for her new friend and her sister. She had been so sweet to her and she didnt deserve to go through all this together.*

'Please gods, watch my friend and protect her. let her know Im here for her.' *She thought to herself.*

*She looked back up at Persephone who was praying and murmured a thanks to her.*
