He entered holding two maps and a piece of parchment with some notes on them. David was dressed in his white armor and clothing. He walked up to one of the king's advisors.
"I need to have an audience with his majesty, King Ricard." he told him, "It is very important that I speak with him."
The noble looked at David as if he was a lowly warrior and nothing more. "The king is very busy. And cannot be disturbed at this time." he replied to David.
"This is of great urgency." David argued, "It's about finding my father. It's about finding a legend, a hero. It's about finding Jonathan Augustine. I must speak with him."
The noble's eyes widened when he heard the name of David's father. However, this did not change his desion. He continued to argue with David about how the king couldn't see him. This just about carried on long enough when he finally called the guards on him. David was still standing his ground and arguing with him. The guards grabbed his arms and started dragging him out of the court.
"You don't understand! You are making a big mistake! Allow me to speak with him!" David yelled in attempts to getting someone's attention that would listen to him.

"Now Hugo; where are your manners man?", said a voice behind the doors as they grinded slowly open. And behind those doors was the King, wearing his black and purple robes of state yet there was no crown on his head. but one could tell this was the King, if not by his manner and bearing, but by the ring on his figure. On this ring was a purple gem that was being devoured by a wolf, the wolf that supposedly saved Avarenius from death before he founded the Kingdom of Avaren. At his side was this sword, Venator, or hunter in the common tounge.
"Rosencraz! Guildenstern!" Ricard cried out to the Halberdiers, a special class of warrior whose task was to guard the King at all times, "Let this warrior go free. He says that he wishes to speak with me, then let him do so. It is his right as a subject of my realm, and I will not allow those rights to be abused. Even if it was in consideration that I was napping, Hugo. Now; Rosencraz and Guildenstern, guard the door and alert me if anyone else wishes to speak with me. Then tell them that they will have to wait until I am done with this young man here. As for you Hugo, shouldn't you preparing for the feast? Were you not the Noble that said he would take care of the entertainment? Be off with you then, my old friend. And try not to be so...suspicous of guests, though it is a useful trait and I do not blame you for not letting him in. Just do not go over my head next time, understand?"
"Perfectly clear your Highness", said Hugo as he backed away and give the young warrior one last look before leaving the Court. Rosencraz and Guildstern promptly let go of the warrior and returned to their posts outside of the Court; closing the gigantic, oaken doors behind them. "Come", said Ricard to the young man as he walked back toward the throne. Once seated, he turned to face the young man, and noted that this man was much taller than him. Even at the height of 6'7", Ricard looked a like a baby compared to him. Must have to be something in this man's bloodlines that made him so tall.
"Tell me then; what is it that you desire of my and I shall try to help you as best I can. And one more thing before you answer that; is that white armour of yours just for decoration or is it meant to stop blows? Excuse me for asking; I am merely curious."

"Your Majesty." David had addressed him and knelt before the king. He didn't rise as he was taught so long ago. He did however look back up at Ricard when he spoke to him. "This armor is a traditional armor that was used in my family. It was used for decoration and for war, sir. I am truly honored to finally speak with you and to see you face to face."
David took note of Hugos' look. He took no offense to it and was relieved when the guards had let him go. He had his long sword at his side, called "the Lightbringer", and he had his spear on his back, known as, "The Ray of Hope." He bowed his head once more to the King of Avaren. "A thousand pardons for disturbing your sleep. If I would've known, I would have came back another time."

"Thank you for answering my question, young warrior. And as for interrupting my slumber; say nothing of the sort. It was a fitful sleep any way and it was a good thing that you had entered when you did; otherwise I would have been very nostalgic when I awakened. And please stand", said Ricard while smiling, "Pleasantries and the like are only needed for the eyes of the public and for only important occassions; never in a simple meeting as this."
"So tell me young man; what would you have of the King of Avaren? Do you seek glory eternal? A quest perhaps? Or is there something else that you so wish to speak to me about; something that I would know nothing of? Come on man, speak and tell me what it is you seek because only then can I help you in that matter."

David stood up and looked at Richard. "Yes, sir." he replied after he told him to talk, "And thank you for hearing my case. I am David Augustine. I am the son of Jonathan Augustine, captain and leader of the Crimson Brigade of fifteen years ago. As you might know, my father disappeared in the last quest he went to and hasn't been seen since. Until recently when I ran into an individual by the name of Alexander Harston. He was caught inside Augustine Manor and claimed to be waiting for my father. I intergated him along with the aide of Guinevere Viperatus."
"That's when I heard that he saw my father about a month ago near the top of the mountains." David paused and took a short breathe before continuing, "He was found in the weaponry room. He didn't take anything, but I found this map on the center table inside. It has markings on them and I'm not sure what they mean. I have went to the library and researched on this map, trying to find anything that would relate to it. I have with me that very map, a current map to the same scale as the other, and notes regarding the symbols and what those markings could possibly mean."
David walked up to Richard and handed him the objects that he had brought with him. "I have a strong feeling that my father was at those locations. I want to go to these places and find out what exactly happened and what led to the dissappearance of my father. I will investigate the mountains first to see if anything can be found there. I do not wish to go alone though. I would like to be accompanied by Avean Luxenbourg and Guinevere Viperatus. If there is anyone else you would like to accompany, I will take them with me as well. And for a last request, I wish to have an wild stallion if one happens to be available."
