Finding my way out (open)

[Marim Mazmo]

Marim walked in the darkness. He needed food. He had left his siblings behind to come and find some but he was losing enrgy and strength. Marim groaned as he fell to his knees. Would he be able to get some food and make it back to his siblings? Marim knew it was tough but he needed help.

[David Augustine]

There was the sound of steal clashing and the thuds of bodies falling to the ground off to the distance. David was there and fighting a gang of theives that decided to ambush him. They were not doing a very good job of it. In his left hand, he held his spear and in his right hand was his long sword. One after another their bodies fell to the ground. David had suffered some blows but they recieved worse.

[Marim Mazmo]

Marim saw a young warrior battling a band of thieves. He got up and limped his way to the warrior. Slowly, taking his time, Marim reached there and he asked,"Good sir, do you need any help?"

[David Augustine]

As the last thief caught the side of David's spear, David turned and flung him off almost hitting Marim. The thief however hit a tree that was nearby. He put his spear and sword away. "No, I'm not in need of any help." David replied looking down at him, "But what are you doing in these woods?"

[Marim Mazmo]

"I'm new in these lands. I've been travelling through the forest from the land of Morytania to get to Avaren. My siblings are with me but they live in a cave quite near here. I'm in the need of food. We haven't had much food in the last few days. By the way I'm Marim.....Marim Mazmo,"said Marim, with an exhausted voice.

[David Augustine]

"I'm David Augustine." he replied, "So you're trying to get to Avaren for food. Well, at least you are on the trail of these woods now. Come follow me, I'll escort you to Avaren." And with that David turned and started walking down the trail toward Avaren.

[Marim Mazmo]

Marim followed David,"Please good sir. We must be quick or my siblings will worry about me. And they are starving as well. is there a faster way to get out of these woods?"

[David Augustine]

"This is the most direct route to Avaren." David replied as he walked, "But if you want to get there faster, you'd have to travel through the heart of these woods. And that is the most dangerous place to be. These woods only get darker and darker as you approach the heart. This path was created and has the most visibility of the forest."

[Marim Mazmo]

"Well I wouldn't mind going through the heart of the forest if I wasn't so weak. But for now I think this path must be our best choice,"said Marim, as he patted his pet monkey,"Are you from Avaren?"

[David Augustine]

"No, I'm not from Avaren. I currently live there though, because of what I have set out to do." he replied as he continued to walk along the trail.

[Marim Mazmo]

"Oh alright,"said Marim,"I hope to settle in Avaren as soon as I can get my younger siblings out of the cave. But with no food for days, they're tired. So, I'll need to get there soon." Marim limped as he walked and asked,"How much more time until we get there?"

[David Augustine]

"We'll reach it before noon." David replied. He looked down at Marim again and noticed that he was limping. "Is something wrong with your leg?" he asked him.

[Marim Mazmo]

"Yes, good sir. I hurt my leg on the journey here. It was painful but I suppose I can heal it when we get to Avaren,"said Marim,"And why have you come to Avaren? I've come to search for the man who killed my parents. He killed many others and goes by the name of......I can't seem to remember that."

[David Augustine]

"I see. I came here to trace my father's footsteps." he told him, "He was reported missing about fifteen years ago. I haven't seen him since. I have heard that he was still alive and others say he is dead."

[Marim Mazmo]

"Oh that's a real mystery. Well I'm hear to avenge the deat of my parents by a guy called Viktor....can't remember the last name,"said Marim as he continued to limp as he walked.
