Kay awoke a little bit. she had allot of bruises from dropping from the big tree. "it isn't your fault" Kay said mumbling underneath her breath. "it was mine" "i should have stayed down on the ground i should have learned my first time i fell." "i didn't learn and i got bruises from it now i have learned from my mistakes." "how long have we been walking for?" Kay asked Kay was just a little confused about where they where going again. she thought that the guy that was carrying her was really strong and a really nice guy for carrying her so fare.
"huh who are u?" Kay was a little scared of the woman that just showed up "do i know u?" "i don't know u do i?" Kay was still confused from the fall that she had taken on but would be ok in a little bit. "so who are u?" Kay asked

Trixice moved her copper eye to settle on the girl, who now seemed to have come to. Reaching up to the brim of her hat she pulled it down a little more, as though she wished to keep her identity a secret. The tattoo's along her jawline and around her only visible eye were very dark in the dim amount of light in the forest, making intricate patterns on her face.
"I am a stranger to you." She said quietly to the girl, before allowing her trademark smirk to slid onto her painted lips. Silently, the woman studied the girl's eyes, attempting to detect whether she would receive a concussion or not from whatever had knocked her out. Trixice was quite certain that the girl would not. Tilting her head slightly, she curved a shapely brow to the canopy and asked: "What are your names?"

"Have I knocked her out? Yes, actually, I was just prowling around the forests and decided to attack the first young woman I saw and take her back to my evil lair. Of course I haven't knocked her out! She-" it was about that moment that Kay awoke, looking confused and bedraggled, and Gil hastily placed her back on her two feet where he hoped she could stand without falling over. This newcomer seemed... an enigma, Gil knew that much. He'd met some of the type, though they were few and far between, people who kept their identities hidden close and their secrets kept even closer. It was a personal pleasure to find out things about these kinds of people.
Kay didn't seem to stop talking or flat out ask the woman her name. That wasn't the way to go about things. "Perhaps you should rest, Kay." said Gil, easily placing a hand on her shoulder and lowering her to the floor where she could sit and be quiet. Turning his eyes to this new woman, he gave her a quick perusal, pursing his lips at the hat and skull necklace, before saying to her, "Names, names, surely that's not what's important here. If I told you mine there's no guarantee you'd tell me yours." he commented, thrusting his hands into his pockets and leaning casually on one leg. "You seem like a smart one, so I won't ask what brings you to this remote part of Avaren. I hope you aren't.... lost?"

"are we ever going to get out of here?" Kay asked Kay fell asleep just for a little bit. she mumbled some words but u couldn't make them out. "are we going to die if we never get out of here?" "what will happen if we do get out of here?" Kay asked

Trixice grew perturbed at the girl in a very short measurement of time, and this showed as she let a sly whisp of air escape her fixed lips. Instead of answering her, the woman with the skull on her necklace simply observed through keen golden eyes, taking to mind the name Kay Viper. She would remember it, no doubt.
Finally, the man found it in himself to speak also. Trixice let a laugh chortle from her insides as he played along sarcastically with her earlier comments, and she looked upon him with a bored look; teasing him silently. It must have been a shame to be stuck with this girl who seemed to rather enjoy talking herself even to unconsciousness - which was where she was for a moment, before waking and continuing to ask Trixice who she was.
The man mentioned no guarantee of her exchanging her name, and to this she nodded and hissed: "Right you are." Listening to him further, he made a subtle suggestion of her being lost, and rather than scoff, she simply curved her eyebrow to the heavens and tilted her head again, shifting her weight to one hip and crossing her arms in a so-so sort of fashion.
Trixice had presumed they were lost, chiefly by the girl's ramblings. Why else would she be discussing whether they would die or not? "Your hope does wonders, for I am not lost." She said, cutting herself short incase she should give anything irrelevant away. He was the first man to have kept his name from her in this kingdom, and his reason was exactly what Trixice usually did. It seemed she was not the only smart one here.
"You are heading for the city then?" She raised another question, silently thinking she would much rather know his name than evoke small-talk. Shame she did not wish to reveal hers.

"As a matter of fact, we are." said Gil, nodding toward Kay, who couldn't seem to keep her pretty little mouth closed. It was grating at his nerves, but keeping ones cool at all times was quite important in a conversation. He took a deep breath and smelling the heavy forest scent before continuing, smiling at the woman. "Funny you should run into us, though, my tracker here, Kay, can barely keep her bearings out in a forest like this. Perhaps you could point us in the right direction?" The thief could only pray that Kay Viper would play along with him, somehow he thought she wouldn't but he couldn't control what she said or what she thought. That made little sense even in his mind, and he knew his brain was starting to get muddled. He was getting rusty. This newcomer won the award for most interesting conversation in a long time, in Gil's book. Hopefully it would continue long enough for him to get some enjoyment out of it.

Trixice kept her brow raised intuitively as he spoke, and mentioned the girl was his tracker. Somehow Trixice was uncertain, though she sifted him the benefit of the doubt and decided to play very close to the line between accusation and curiosity. Studying Kay first, with that unusual gold iris, and then the man, Trixice spoke.
"Well, I believe you were heading in the right direction to begin with." She informed him slyly; the smirk on her face illustrating that she was not prepared to play fool tonight. "Allow me," She said, before looking at each of them with perhaps an untrustable look, "...to escort you." Then she sank her hands into her deep pockets and walked forward in the direction they had been heading; her back turned rather bravely at them.

The moment Trixice's back was turned, Gil risked a wink and a compulsory finger lifted to his lips, the sign for silence. Quickly his hands were back in his pockets however, and he trusted the woman was already far enough ahead not to have seen. Did this girl not listen? The only place they were headed was back to town, where by his word he wouldn't enter these damnable forests again unless he was forced, and where hopefully he could be rid of the annoyance that was Kay Viper.
He motioned with his head toward Trixice and made sure Kay was in front. "Now pay attention, Kay, you should be able to find your direction if you focus." he said, keeping up the lie that she was a tracker, and a bad one. This held that the tracker would go before, and Gil would take the rear, which also held the added bonus of having a meat shield in front of him if the enigmatic woman tried anything tricky. An hour, or so, and he could be done with it.

There was that tickle of curiosity constantly fingering her thoughts, but she did not turn around, something told her not to turn around. Carefully examining the path ahead - one only seen by keen eyes - the acolyte slid her finger inside her mouth before raising it slightly in front of her and testing the wind. It blew ever so gently to the south, signaling a coming storm.
She could hear them speaking behind her, and she listened carefully, a mistress of eaves-dropping, whether it was her business or not. Trixice tucked her finger back into her pocket and smirked even deeper; something in the tone of his voice was not quite right. If she had one guess, she would have said he was lying. But alas, her lips remained sealed.
They walked on for a good half hour or so, Trixice continuously checking the directed flow of the hard-to-catch wind, her sharp copper eye fixed on the seemingly invisible path that she followed. A speck in the distance, the raised turrets of a castle were just visible through the dense forest, and here, she paused, turning to gaze on the two behind her - chiefly the man.
"Well then, there it is." She said simply, whisking a hand out to the side to present the town in the distance. It would take them another half hour to get there, but considering how long it may have taken without a good guide, that time was near to nill.

"Thank you, dear." he said, giving a little snap of the fingers and a wink at her. "Perhaps we'll meet again in the future. I'm certainly looking forward to it. Ta ta!" the thief started to move away quickly, then seemed to remember Kay still standing there. He turned and waved, tacking on, "Well Kay I have to be going but i'll meet you at the regular spot later on, then we can talk, hmm? Stay out of trouble." Impromptu speaking was a gift of his, he thought, and even if it didn't sound convincing he didn't care. Shooting one last look at Trixice and holding back a smile, he quickly made his way down the hill and toward town. It smelled like a storm, and he hated getting too wet. It messed his hair and muddled with his thieving implements.

Trixice nodded and tipped her hat in a goodbye to the stranger. Glancing over at his 'tracker' she raised her brow expectedly, almost waiting for the girl to rush after the man and follow, but alas, she simply stood there, and a moment later the man turned to bit adieu to her too. Trixice immediately began stepping backward at this, for she did not wish to remain with the girl.
Turning on her own heels, she smirked a memorable smirk to the man as he turned, and then she turned too, rushing off in the opposite direction and out of sight within moment. Trixice was not a fan of storms either.
