Avean ran into the forest, pain rushing through her veins and tears running down her face. She threw herself to the ground, bawling. "WHHYYY.." she screamed, her voice crackled from crying. Avean pushed her long chesnut hair from her face and continued to cry, everything coming out. "I loved him..." she mumbled through tears, grasping her hair tightly as if punishing herself for something she had done.

Trixice stepped out sharply from behind one of the many large tree trunks in the near pitch-black forest. Under the brim of her hat, a frown was worn rather strong, and she let an irritated hiss slip through her rusty-brown lips at the shriek that had engulfed the forest, ruining it's tranquil setting for that ear-piercing fraction of a moment.
When she saw the young lady throw herself to the ground and continue mourning - rather dramatically - whatever it was she had clearly lost, Trixice had to stifle her comment, which had been something along the lines of 'shut up' in a far more classy set of words.
Instead, she made her way over to kneel by the girl and clasped her wrists gently in gloved hands - fingerholes cut out in them. She applied some pull to stop the girl tearing out her own hair, and then cupped the girl's chin with her hand supportively, meeting her eyes with a copper-gold one; the other having been hid under her black cropped hair and hat.
"Hey, darlin', hush yourself, what in the world's name is wrong?" She said solidly, confiding in her tentatively-sympathetic tone to bring the girl to some quiet sense. The hollow eye sockets of the skull on her necklace stared emptily too, like Trixice, waiting for some sort of civil response.
She couldn't try to fix anything until she new what needed mending.

She looked away, tears still flowing down her face. "I loved him" she choaked out. Avean began crying harder, grasping the stranger into a hug as though her was an old friend.

David ran from the city and into the forest. He was following Avean, but had lost track of her when passing through the gates. He started walking quietly through the forest. He tried to find any clue of which direction she had went. He then heard the loud shriek. He walked towards its source. He stepped close enough to where he could see her. She was crying and he watched as the other woman came up to her speak with her. He turned and leaned against a trunk of a tree. He slid down sitting on the forest floor. It was his fault. He sighed heavily as he tried to listen to their conversation.

"I cared so much...I guess I'm just stupid." she growled, pointing everything at herself. For it felt like she was guilty. Avean just wanted to die for thinking someone she cared for would ever care for her. She had given up the one she cared about in hope that David had truley cared for her but she was wrong, so wrong.
Avean began to bawl harder.

"I care for you Avean." David mumbled under his breath, "I'm sorry. It was stupid what I did. I shouldn't have done it." It tore him up inside that he could cause so much pain to someone. He cared about her more than anything, but there was nothing that he could do to prove such a thing. At least what he could think of.

"Damn it I'm so stupid." she said pulling away from the girl and sitting down fully, her knees up to her chest. Avean pulled her arms around her legs and sobbed, hating every fibre of herself.

Trixice was perhaps more surprised than she should have been as the girl opened her arms and wrapped Trix in a hug. She remained squatting awkwardly for a moment or two, before coyly placing her own arms around the girl's back and head, stroking her brown hair with one gloved hand gently.
"I loved him."
The girl said, and Trixice needed no more words to understand that what needed mending was a broken heart, and there were only a few ways to go about such a delicate operation. The sound of a body against bark sounded as Trixice heard something behind her and the girl, just as the girl unwrapped herself from Trixice and curled her knees to her chest like an upset child.
A faint smirk passed over the lips of this woman. Why, she almost felt something of a mother in the situation. Who on earth would hurt such a pretty dear? She wondered silently to herself. She was certain it had to be accidental or unintentional. Taking the brim of her hat in her hands as she stood, she turned to face the sound of mumbling behind one of the trees nearby.
Having grasped the hilt of her dagger as she had risen, Trixice flipped it's sharp edge forward to point at the trunk and moved in front of the girl, protectively. Although she did this, her stance was slack, for she had an idea of who may have been behind the tree; the cause of so many tears, just perhaps?
"Hush." Trixice whispered softly to the girl, before fixing her copper eye on the tree-trunk. "Show yourself." She said in a warning tone, before adding four more words that held much more than one meaning in the situation. "Don't be a coward."

Avean looked up, wondering who was hiding in the shadows.

David rose from where he sat. He marched slowly from behind the tree trunk and moved to where they could see him. He had a pained look on his face. He knew what he had done. It was by far unintentional. He had sorrow in his blue eyes that would normally what he stood for. His white armor seemed more like a gray instead. It was like if everything of him showed his guilt. The fact that he didn't want Avean to feel this way. He wasn't coward, but prefered to chose the right moments. He was looking at the ground. He raised his head to look at the woman with the copper eye. His eyes meeting hers, even though one of hers were hidden. He was able to catch a bit of Avean who was sitting beside her. He then returned to looking at the ground.

Studying his armour very carefully, Trixice noted that he did not carry a weapon directly in his hands. The look on his face proved to be guilt and remorse of something he had done, and it did not take a high IQ to figure out he was no doubt the cause of the girl's sadness. Sighing softly, Trixice lowered her dagger and stepped aside so the young man could see the young lady clearly.
Quietly and with an air of sincere solidity, Trixice said: "I believe you two need to sort something out. My luck to you both, wherever you end up." Then she dropped the dagger into a pouch on the inside of her boot and pulled her cloak's side around herself. Tugging her hat down a little further she made to leave, walking past the girl and in the opposite direction to where the boy had appeared.

Avean looked up at David, her eyes filled with tears. The tears were of anger and hatred for herself.
She twiddled her finger around her dress and waited for him to speak...or do something.

David sighed and scratched the back of his head. He was unsure of how to go about this. He walked next Avean and sat down at her side. He was looking at the ground and moved his finger around in it. He tried to think of the words to say, but none came to him. He opened his mouth several times fixing to speak, but closed it back and turned to the ground again.
He then turned to look at Avean. "I..." he started but couldn't seem to finish.
