Luthien was on a walk, clearing her mind when she came upon the waters of the lake for the first time. She paused in awe, kneeling down she stared intensely at the water.
She let out a giggle,"It's so clear and you can see all the fish." Lu commented in an innocent manner as a large orange fish swam by.
"This would be a nice place to relax," she though to herself.
Luthien took her sheathed sword and put it on the ground. Next she took off her shoulder plates and breast plate. And last the thigh protection, arm bands and boots.. Only leaving a square-neck smile white dress that came halfway between her thighs and knee and small knee socks.
She took a deep breath and plopped onto the ground. She rolled from her back to her stomach and had a transfixed gave at the water till she stared to doze.

"Well that's curious." A calm voice delivered it's message smoothly, from a figure who sat a little further up the shore from the young girl at the edge of the lake. "A warrior without her sword." She pondered, almost as though she were talking entirely to herself, though the spark in the solid gold of her eyes told differently. She was eager for a response.
Her cloak billowed around her like enormous arms of protection, splayed out at random on the earth by her sides and behind her. Thick boots braced her knees up so she could casually rest her arms on them, tracing the outline of the girl with a painted-black nail. Her gaze shone sharp from one eye, the only one visible under an age-old hat which dipped low at her forehead, giving her an air of intrique; an air that she had come to call her facade.
Trixice waited.

Luthien heard a famaliar voice, one she had heard in the forest. Of that woman. SHe did not fear. Slowly Lu sat up, still in a sleepy daze.
She replied, "A warrior is never with out her sword, it is right here" She stretched forward grabbing her sword and sheath and holding them close.

Trixice smiled a hidden smile. The girl seemed young, brave too. "Oh, I see." Trixice called slowly, pondering whether or not to ask the question that was bobbing like a jack-in-a-box in the back of her mind. She decided on the positive, what could she lose but the satisfaction for a thought-provoking question?
"Tell me darlin'," She began, now tracing the horizon instead. A simple, dead, straight, line. "What if I had decided to attack you in the space of time it took you to lean over and grab your sheathed sword?" She stopped tracing the horizon, and lowered her hand to hold her other wrist, fixing the girl with a solid-gold eye, curious to know her answer.

She smiled, "Then i suppose i would be dead right now."
She slowly unsheathed her sword throwing the sheath to the side and placing the sword on her lap. She put one hand on the hilt and the other on the with of the blade.
"Besides if you were going to attack me, also considering if you can fight well, then you would have done so with out making conversation first. If your intent was tp kill, then you would have done so sooner. For now i am prepared." She sopke with a hint of cockiness.
She could talk big and was quite brave, but she wasnt that great with a sword, comparitivly speaking.

Trixice smiled back, enjoying the response of the girl and nodding in respect to her answer. It was always interesting to hear answers - Trixice thought - for her intentions were almost always different to the thoughts of others. For instance, she would never have killed the girl. Or, if she had planned to, she would not have killed her immediately, rather, she would have made conversation, and taken her with spine-chilling precision off guard.
It was all the more exciting too when circumstances could have yet to play themselves out. Trixice was not in any state or mood to challenge the girl to a duel, oh no. Instead she just wanted calm conversation, it was far more enlightening. "So how long have you had your sword? Was it a gift?" She asked curiously, toying endlessly with the teeth adorning her necklace.

Luthien had a feeling of relief, she relaxed leand backward and proping herself up with her arm. An innocent smile ran across her face.
"I have had my sword since i was..." she paused for a second to remember, "Ah yes, since i was five.'' She continued, "The sword is a family heirloom. We have two in the family and the other belongs to my cousin Zetyev Flynn. The sword was forged by a man called Carmeral Zextv for my great grandfather durning the beginning of the Ceres war."
She stopped herself before she started to give the woman a history lesson of her clan.

Trixice listened intently again, her copper eyes traveling over the horizon in a smooth line, before glancing up to trace imaginary shapes in the clouds. Her cropped black hair danced under the brim of her hat as a cool breeze whisked by, carrying with it the scent of herbs and spices - from someone's dinner no doubt, or the market place.
"Since you were five, wow, how old are you now then?" She asked, smiling at the young girl's obvious enjoyment at telling her family's history. "Zetyev Flynn," She repeated with thought. "That sounds Russian, what's your name?" She said, pulling at the cut fingerholes of her gloves absent mindedly.

"I am seventeen now. But everyone says a look to young to be seventeen." she said cheerfully. She had just had her birthday.
"My cousin's name is after a great worrior, it could be russian?' she questioned herself.
She then held out her hand. "Luthien Galathil is my name, and you?' she asked.

Trixice noted awkwardly how LĂșthien held out her hand, and it took the acolyte a moment before she leaned over and shook it gently. "Er...I don't usually give my name out." She said somewhat quietly. "It's nothing personal, don't be offended." She explained with a faint smile, releasing the girl's hand and settling back against the grass.
