Surfacing again, she smiled shyly back. “You’ll have to come in and see” She teased as swimming out a little, watching him closely. She had gone into a playful mood waiting for his next movement. She held her body mostly submerged, only her dark eyes stayed above the water. The wind drifted passed causing a small chill, she didn’t want to consider that fact she hadn’t brought any change of cloths and so will be walking back in the cold and will end up getting sick. But that was the future, as she pushed that thought away all she wanted to do now was have fun and put everything behind her and hopefully cheer another up in the process.

Nathaniel took off his sandles and dumped his cloak onto the gassy bank. "I'll take your word for it." and jumped in. It wasn't that cold. But t brough a chill to his skin as the water soaked through his thin shirt. He submerged for a full minute before resurfacing, just behind her. "Boo!" rather childish. But.

Duilya twirled around to face him, giggling in a way she hasn’t done in years. She found herself thinking that she hoped her hair wasn’t that messy and that she looked relatively passable, she bit her lip due to sudden nerves and pushing back and sort of emotions she was having, feeling like a teenage fool, she quickly laughed as moving away. “Catch me if you can” She said in little more than a whisper as turning around and ducking again under into the cool peaceful depths the only thing that disturbed her under the water was slimy plants that just touched her legs.

Nathaniel shook his head. He was playing tag. What he wouldn't give for his other half to see him now. She'd probably have a fit. He smirked at the mere thought. "Catch me if you can!" and she disappeared under the surface again, ripples spreading like a blossom of a rose. He looked around for a minute and spear dived also into the water. It was cool and clear, so clear you could easily see someone. Water plants and herbs swayed to a underwater breeze, the mud and stones slippery with moss. Around him, the unsettled dirt floated in a cloud then settled again. (ooc: ok. Since its tag..I got to do some minor...ah..godmoding? I dunno.) THen he saw her, just out of sight in the bule green waters that seemed to be blurring his vision a little. He swam, pushing off with his feet so that he shot, streamlined and dolphin like across a good ten meters. Was it his imagination or was the water not so...frictionish. (ooc: not sure what to use here...lol) He gave her a mischievous punch on the shoulder, smiling like a hooligan.

Taliesin had been wondering around the lake for a while. His dad had been extremely mad when Taliesin had told him he had gotten into the militia and so was quitting his shoe making job. And in this anger had told Taliesin if he was old enough to make such a decision he was old enough to find his own home. The crazy old goat didn’t seem to realize that Taliesin had actually done his father a favor now he could find a apprentice that would actually work. His mum had attempted to talk his father around but even she failed. “He’ll regret this in the morning, then he’ll be begging me back” Taliesin growled as noticing a pair of sandals, a flute and a few other items by the edge of the water. Sitting down as seeing a couple of people swimming in the water looking as if playing tag. Laughing to him and not even thinking he might have stumbled across a private moment watched the show. Recognizing both people, he found the whole thing more interesting for he hadn’t seen the girl since he was twelve back on his uncles farm, they hadn’t been friends in fact he use to irritate her to no ends since from nine he started following her around when ever they visited her father or they came to visit.

Duilya hadn’t expected to be found so quickly and with the punch on her should made her gasp, taking in a mouthful of water. Coming up for air coughing and spluttering, yet at the same time trying not to laugh or she wouldn’t be able to stop coughing. Looking towards the edge she noticed a young blond lad sitting and watching with an amused smile. She groaned as realizing who it was.

Nathaniel was a good swimmer. Or, good enough. He hid, holding his breath among a patch of particularaly long and weeping weeds and plants on the sandy bottom of the lake. And he waited. And he waited. And he-had to come up for air. He surface elegantly, pushing off from the lake's bottom and arching back, diving backwards into the water again, making a splash. Rather like a dolphin doing tricks. Then he surfaced again, his raven errands wet and dripping water down his face. He turned and noticed that Duilya was making no attempt at tagging him.
She was looking at someone on the bank. A familiar someone. Right...he thought deviously, lets see how much I have to do to get you wet... He dived down again, this time, swimming fast, his body nearly touching the lake bed in a streamlined position, straight to wards the bank. he did not go too shallow for the fear of the familiar figure on the bank seeing him in the clear waters.
He took aim.
And fired.
A larged, spiralling jet of lake water along with a bit of sand and weed came jetting out of the lake surface like a mini torpedo. The 'familiar figure on the bank' didn't have a chance. Nathaniel nearly drowned himself laughing.

Taliesin had no time to reacted in a split second he had noticed Nathaniel’s he was already wet, it had been in slow moment watching the water drifting closer and closer till it hit him. “Geezs could of just said to move along” He mumbled as looking down at his cloths in disgust, more at that fact he hadn’t noticed than being wet it self. His light brown hair was even dripping. He would have run in after them, but Taliesin had a small problem with that, he had a fear of swimming and drowning.

Duilya grinned; a satisfied look crept up her face. Taliesin always got what he deserved and in this case he couldn’t come into the water to have any kind of revenge, he was also impossibly simple minded so would forget to put his revenge to a later date. She slowly swam over towards him, not in any hurry to reach the blond haired wet youth. “A bit late to be out on a walk don’t you think” Duilya commented he was after all a couple of years younger than herself.

"Sorry about that!" he yelled over the distance, still laughing and spluttering water. He swept some wet strands of hair from his eyes, squinting into the glittering distance over the lake's surface. Duilya was saying something. He grinned. That was fun. Perhaps a tidal wave.. Nathaniel disappeared under water.
