David smiled at what she had done. He knew she had it in her. He didn't say anymore, but simply nodded. It would be soon that the other two would know that he was here. He remained hidden as best he could. If they were to call him out he would show himself. However, if they demanded him dead, he would not go down without a fight.

As the warrior David enterred the building, it tripped off the magical wards Nerull had in place by all the various entryways into the citadel. (Hey, what would you do if you had a couple hundred years of free time locked inside a single building.) Although he couldn't pinpoint the exact location of the intruder, he knew there was one here.
When the girl whispered something almost inaudible just prior to freeing herself, Nerull knew there was another presence here that she had sensed. Lifting his gaze from within his hood, he was able to "see" the aura surrounding the human intruder in the room.
Turning slightly towards Viktor, "It appears we have some more company."

Avean glared at Nerull. "Don't you dare." she growled angerily, her hands shaking with rage. Avean kept part of her gaze on the spot she assumed David was, but her gaze on Nerull, anger filling her eyes.

David stepped out from where he was hiding. His hand on the hilt his sword, the Lightbringer. He stepped forward and ready for a fight. Whether it was to just get away or a fight to death it did not matter to him. He was going to fight with honor and righteousness on his side. His blue eyes were filled with flames of a holy rage. His white armor stood out against the dark surroundings. He walked slowly toward them ready for whatever was to come at him.

Viktor readied his sword, a strong aura was near. A holy one. A paladin? Interesting, most interesting. Some young fool who thought that the hollow promises of some unknown force will protect him. If his own time asa paladin taught him anything, it was that those of righteous mind, were the best to corrupt.
"Ho there, young warrior. What brings you forth here? The inevitable battle draws you, does it not? Or does that fool god of yours bid you forth?"

Avean's eyes glowed a deeper hue, anger rising to the surface. She backed up, the bruises on her arms and neck throbbing. Avean stood in front of the area where David was, protecting the one she cared for.

"My God is no fool." David replied, "And what brings me here is a promise that I have made. I know not who you are nor do I care. But the fact that you have an evil aura is enough for me to act against you."
It was true that he did not know who Viktor was and that he felt the evil that came from him. It was something that deserved something worse than death. It was something that he believed should be banished from the plane of existance. His beliefs and aura made people mistaken David as a paladin. Even the history of his family, all of them were paladins, but he was the first one not to be one. He was something more.

Aveans eyes slowly turned back to their natural color. She listened to David talk, her hands clasped into fists. Avean waited for some sign to show her if she could beat Viktor to a pulp yet...

"Good or not, boy. You don't come to my home with this wench of yours announced. Perhaps they don't teach you this in whatver paltry military academy you belong to, but acting against an unknown opponent on hostile ground is a sure route to failure."
Viktor eased his stance, his armor shifting. He rested his ancient blade on his shoulder.
"Though if you want a fight, I'd be more than happy to oblige."

Avean stepped back, resenting as he called her a wench. Her eyes fell to the floor, thinking of many curses she could shot to him. Avean pushed her long chesnut hair from her face and fell against the wall behind her, so cold and bare. She felt as though in a prison.

David stepped in front of Avean and glared at Viktor. "And you underestimate your opponents too greatly." he replied and drew the Lightbringer from it's scabbard. It's blade glowed a bright blue. "I will dual you. For the sake of this city, this nation, and in the name of God!" David's eyes held an inferno of a righteous fury and the aura of his sword followed suit. He got into his battle stance. He held his long sword with two hands and pointing at his opponent.

Viktor broke into raucous laughter.
"Fine then, in the name of your God. We'll duel. Truly honorable of you. I won't waste any time telling you of the numbers of people I've killed in combat with this very blade, and of all the cities I've left devastated. I don't think you'd listen anyway."
Viktor readied his stance, still resting the wicked sword on his shoulder.

Avean slid down on the floor, her head in her hands as she listened to their bickering. She felt more and more ferocious anger building up inside, ready to burst.

Nerull was greatly amused by the whole confrontation for these two had indeed come barging in here just to confront the inhabitants of this citadel.
He pointed his right arm towards the knight chanting under his breath the foul curse he had been preparing, "It appears that you have forgotten that there are others here who would gladly take your life from you," he said as the mist that perpetually trailed around his arm began to take on a purplish hue.
"Now die like a good little boy," he spat as the fist took form as it flew towards him. The form it took was perhaps not the most impressive, yet it would deffinately get the job done...
As the giant fist shaped cloud flew towards David, Nerull had already began to chant the beginning of a spell of shielding.

"You could name all the names of the people you killed." David started, "You can call upon all the cities that you have destroyed, but what happened in the past will not help you in the present." He then charged at Viktor and stopped just within range of his sword. His charge was just in time to avoid Nurells magic assult. He unleashed a powerful side slash from the left that drifted slightly upward.
