Full Name: Ailena Felied
Nickname/s: Lena
Current Age: 19
Siblings and Parents: Sir Robin Felied and Mistress Marie Delfald. Ailena has no siblings.
Likes: Silence, night and stars. She likes adventure, meeting new people. Her love is learning, reading, and horseback riding.
Dislikes: Violence, slavery or servitude, human torture, control.
Appearance: Not too tall, 5'1" in height. Skinny. She has long dark brown, usually seen as black, hair that's slightly wavy. She has large blue eyes and rather pale skin. Sometimes you can see scars over her arms and other marks burned into her skin on her upper arms and back.
Personality: She is rather a quiet and respectful individual. Well educated, she is modest and well mannered. Still, when less shy, she is seen to be rather friendly, caring, and will stop at nothing to help another. Before she had acted rather selfishly on her part causing herself and others a great deal of pain. Now, living in Avaren, she is more daring and bold then she had normally been. She carries little value to her name and will stop at nothing to help another. She is a valued friend and dear companion.
History: Born to a wealthy merchant, Ailena was treated like a noble in that she had a wonderful home, many tutors, and a sheltered life. Then, at the age of fourteen, her father plunged into debt and to pay it off, sold her and her mother to the Lord of Maldered. The women, including their servants became his property to command.
The ruthless Lord beat Ailena and the others to get them to obey. He killed those workers who didn't. At one point in her servitude, Ailena decided that they needed help, needed to get out of his mansion. Thus, by stealing his horse she galloped out of the city seeking help. Finding none, she returned with a heavy and fearful heart.
Only what she found was that her mother and their old servants were torched by the Lord to find out where she was and they never returned. Blaming the loss of her family on herself, Ailena knew she had no choice but to leave for good. If she was caught by the Lord upon her return, she'd be killed for stealing and for escaping. But if she ran, she would live.
And so she did run, for a fortnight, until she knew she was no longer being followed by the man's knights. Arriving in Avaren, Ailena is trying to control her guilt for murdering her mother and faithful servants as well as all her other sins.
Anything else you would like to add: She hopes that her new life there will teach her more about herself, as well as others. Once in a while she gets thoughts of revenge on her abusive Lord, but perhaps friendship will make her reconsider using her mage powers in that way.
