Round one: Evee Natalia vs. Riley Lambert

Match begins with Evee's first turn.

Evee walks out onto the Field, no fear or nervousness in her eyes. Her spirit was calm and she was confident about her winning, even if she did not she would learn from her defeat instead of dwelling on it. 'All I have to do is use my mage skills and focus....I should be fine...' Evee thought to herself.

She saw Riley standing out on the field ready for battle, as was Evee. She came and stood about four feet away from Riley and looked him square in the eyes, the wind was blowing gently making Evee's hair fly about. But the fierce fighter inside of her kept her focused, nature didn't seem to phase her.

Evee put a smirk on her face then put her hands together in a prayer type position. "I wish you good luck Riley, I won't go easy on you..." Having said her fighting words, Evee began with her first attack. She gathered some of her energy, wanting to conserve it. The earth around her began to shake and dirt particles from the field started to swirl around her, then a visible white aura outlined her body that seemed almost heavenly.

Rilery had walked out to the field with high spirits. He was keen to atleast win once, that was all he needed. After he had done so he would fight with true happiness in his heart, if not, then the next time he would do alot better. In his thoughts he was thinking of that dream he had shared. He wanted that to become a reality and soon.

When Evve came towards him, he gave her a smile and a bow. He wasn't surprised in her words and smiled to himself.

"Good Luck to you lady Evee. I wouldn't expect anything less from you and in turn I know you wouldn't expect it from me", he said to her.

He backed away alittle, unsheathing his own sword and praying that his father was right in telling him what specialties it held. He watched Evee carefully, awaiting her attack. When she began to gather her energy, the ground shaking and moving. He stood his ground and awaited the appointed attack.

"THis will be for you Guinevere..I will win atleast one.." he whispered to himself.

He held the sword firmly in his hands, pointed towards Evee and took a breath, calm and aware.

Evee was feeling her power, it was very strong within her. She opened her eyes again with her eyebrows scrunched and shouted, "RELISIS!!!!!" just before she sent a white sphere of light towards Riley. This attack was meant to mess with the enemy's head. This attack would make the person believe that they were severly wounded and also feel it, though the person would be perfectly fine. Evee practiced this spell on a stray animals and it worked effectively, the only thing was that it would last no more than ten minutes.

Evee didn't know if the attack would hit him dead-on or not but she stood there calming her powers so that she wouldn't become weak so early in the battle. She had many other usefull attacks but they were merely tricks of sorts, which an apprentice mage can only manage somewhat damaging attacks. But tricks weren't all Evee knew how to do, she can manage to wound her opponet but she wasn't strong enough to put someone in a life-threatening state.
Evee knew her limits, and she also knew that this battle is the first and most important one in her life.

She had to learn how to strengthen her powers and think ahead of her opponets. She could already think strategically but she expects more from herself. As she watched and waited for her attack to hit Riley, she thought about Maril...He gave her the drive and inner strength to go on in this battle. Evee had her ambition, she just wanted to win at least one battle. She didn't care if she couldn't win this one, but she would most certainly give her all.
