Shadow walked into the tavern and found an empty table towards the back of the large room. He sat down at the table and put the head of the axe on the floor resting the handle against the table. He looked around for a friendly face but eventually stopped and put his head in has hands and rubbed the sleep from his eyes.

"Looks like you just woke up brother." Hawkes watched Shadow walk in from the bar but was wondering if he was still vigilant or not. From his proformance he was not at all. "You really have to open your eyes more."

"Sorry its been a long night. Been looking around for stuff in this city. It's pretty big. Where can i go to practice with my axe because i haven't done that in a while. And i don't think these people would be to happy if i practiced in the middle of the road."
Shadow looked at Hawkes with groggy eyes and laughed a little bit.

Hawkes pulled a flask out from under his cloak and slide it in Shadow's direction. "Drink some of that. It should help out." He then pondered Shadows quesiton. Where could he practice his axe. "The only place I can think of is at the barracks or out of time. The choice is yours but I would practice out of town in the forest or something."

Shadow took the flask and took a swig. He shook his head and handed the flask back. "Thanks. The forest probably is my best bet. Ill have to go out there later."
Shadow rocked back in his chair and leaned back on the back two legs. The chair groaning under his weight.

"Anytime man. If you want to train with me just hit me up and I will come with you. I am sure I can teach you a thing or two." Hawkes smirked because he found it funny. Hawkes replaced the flask and took out another one which he drank from.

"Hey i might get a few hits in. You never know. All i need is one square hit on you and you could be down for the count." Shadow laughed loudly and many of the people at the other tables looked at him. Shadow looked around and looked back at Hawkes. "Some of these people are really nosey."

"That is true Shadow. One GOOD hit would take me out." Hawkes joined in Shadow's laugh and noticed others watching them. "Yes people here are noisy. Although we have nothing to fear because we have done nothing wrong yet. Right?" Hawkes was fueling the fire so to speak.

Shadow banged on the table smiling. "Yes. These people need to learn how to mind their business. Even if we did something wrong they wouldn't be that stupid to actually try to stop us would they?" Shadow by the end was almost yelling and more people were turning around looking at them.

"Yes they do need to mind their own business. What is it to them if we did murder a couple of people back in our old town!" Hawkes was now making an ass of himself acting like a suicidal maniack. This really was not Hawkes but he hated when people where nosiy.

Shadow put his hand on Hawkes shoulder and laughed. "Yo man calm down. We don't need to bring up passed things that could hurt us." Shadow turned and looked at everyone. A couple were scowling now and he glared right back at them.

"What do you mean Shadow? Do you really think these people could hurt us?" At that Hawkes stood up and unsheathed his sword. He drew a circle around him and then looked up with evil in his face. "I would like to see them try."

Shadow got up quickly flipping the table. His axe went skidding across the floor and hit a chair that a man was sitting in. He put a hand on Hawkes chest. "Come on man not yet. We only just got here. Let us settle in then we can show these weakling what power is."

Hawkes got out of his pose and resheathed his sword. "You are right Shadow. These people are not worth cleaning my blade." Hawkes reset the table and his chair and sat back down. "What is on your mind Shadow?" Hawkes went back into his mellow mood just as quickly as he had left it.

Shadow went over and picked up his axe. The man glared at him and Shadow growled at him. Shadow came back down at sat down next to Hawkes. "We need to get some jobs done around here to get our high standing up. Just odd jobs so our names are on the tongues of the people."
