"Yes we do need to do some jobs but I do not know who to get in touch with. I guess we can ask the king if he needs any jobs done but I do not know who else to ask." Hawkes began racking his brain for people to ask for jobs to be done.

"We'll have to look but if we can't find anyone we will just have to go to the king." Shadow layed the axe across his lap and pulled out a small smoothe stone and started sharpening the head of his axe. "Your still as fast i remember with unsheathing your sword."

"We might just have to go to the king anyway to get our name out there quicker. You know how we do." Hawkes watched as Shadow started to sharpen his axe. "Thank you brother. You still are the best sharpener out there from what I have seen."

*A young burnette walked into the Tavern quickly with red cheeks and ears. She looked as thought she had slept outside for a day. She pulled her black cloak around her tighter and walked up to the bar eyeing everyone around the bar. A pair of men caught her eyes both seeming hansome. She sat down at the bar and ordered a painkiller with an extra shot of rum, and waited.*

Hawkes so a young lady come in that seemed a little under the weather. He decided to have her sit with them. "Ma'am. If you wish to sit with us you can." He yelled over to her.

((thanks for the tip...  )) Selena blushed as one of the men asked her to sit with them. She got up and walked over. "Hello gentlemen. Thank you for the invitation. I have just arrived here. Im afraid I dont know very many people here yet." She offered her hand. "Im Selena." |

Shadow reached out and shook her hand gently. He smiled and nodded his head. "We are new here to and i'm Shadow by the way." Shadow went back to sharpening his axe. A scraping noise rang out each time Shadow rubbed the stone against the blade.

Selena winced the first time he sharpened the axe but then got used to it and it didnt bother her. She sat down and saw the barmaid came with her drink. She said a quick thanks and started downing her drink. "Do you want to try one? They are painkillers. Really good but strong with a bit of rum if you like that kinda thing."

Hawkes took her hand and shook it. "My name is Hawkes Star." He listen to what she had to say and frowned at the offer of the drink. "No. I do not drink. It screws with my brain and I can have none of that." Hawkes was a little of a control freak but he needed to be in his life.

Selena blushed. "Sorry, I didnt mean to offend you. I dont drink a lot. I would lose my head." She laughed. "So what are you two doing here in the Kingdom?"

Shadow stopped sharpening his axe and put the stone on the table. He held the axe head up and ran his hand along the edge. "We have a troubled past so we move around a lot. This is just our next stop on our journey." He put the axe back on his lap, picked up the stone and started sharpening his axe again.

"Ah, I suppose by that you would rather not talk about it. Am I right gentlemen?" Selena wanted nothing to do with being rude to them, they had, after all, invited her to sit with them. Perhaps she would get a couple of friends before the night was out!

"Its not that we don't want to talk about it. Its just that most people dont really like to hear about our past crimes and such. But Hawkes is more then welcome to tell you because he can explain the circumstances much better then me." He looked at her and smiled then ordered a glass of water.

"Well we do all kinds of jobs. I'm mainly here for the labor work. We also are bodygaurds for hire. We really can't classify us has having a certain job." Shadow took a sip of water out of the glass the waitress brought over.
