Embracing her supportively, Rith let her cry all she needed to as he said "You're confused because you are trying to rationalise this with your mind again, Avean. As I have said before: your mind cannot make these sorts of choices."

"I know its hard Avean, but you will eventually need to come to a decision about this, or it will surely devour you whole. Though, no matter what, I will be here for you Avean." he replied as he patted her back consolingly, letting his cloak catch her tears as they fell from her eyes.

She closed her eyes and tried to think of something else but it seemed all too hard. Avean let out a muffled cry and hugged Rith with unforcable power. She felt so vunerable but it was something she couldn't help.
