Alezand strolled into the tavern, dead on his feet. He had just left the company of Rith Matou, and now he desired a strong ale to help him mull over the recent events. He sat down at the bar, and flagged the bar tender. Down slid a dark brew, caught by Jozlyn's slender fingers. He sat dwelling on his thoughts, becoming immersed in the Scottish tune playing behind him. He was almost tempted to grab his flute out of his bag, but he had a felling he was going to get lucky on his quest. So he turned and watched the scene in the bar.

He turned to a person to his right, "pardon me, I was wondering what might your name be? I'm Alezand Jozlyn, of the Raptor clan."

Marim had been sitting at the tavern for a long time. Thinking and thinking, he didn't know how the time passed. He was sitting there but was occupied in his thoughts. He didn't realise that people were walking into the tavern as quickly as they left. He had just met his parent's murderer which would come as a shock to everyone. The 19 year old sat quietly. He had found the man he was searching for at last after 13 years. Then he realised someone was talking to him and had asked him for his name. He said,"Hello good sir, I am Marim Mazmo. I do not come from Araven but from the visiting land of Morytania. And how are you doing this fine day?"

"Well, Marim, I come from a distance myself. And brings you to this wonderful kingdom?" Jozlyn asked. He sensed that this Marim was on a quest himself. perhaps they will be parteners in their quests. Who knew, but Jozlyn had a slight talent for sensing the future. It was being part of Allaine. It was a skill inherited in blood. And right now, something was nudging him in this fellow mans direction.

Avean was in the corner of the tavern underneath a deep black cloak. She had been upset ever since the day in the citadel. Avean stood up and walked up to Alezand. "Hello." she said simply, watching the other man out of the corner of her eye.

"Hey, how are you, my dear Avean? I didn't see you there in the corner." making sure that he pronounced her name right this time. "this Marim..." he directed to the man to his right, "what brings you to this place?"

"To drink myself into oblivion..." she muttered, taking a seat in the chair beside him. Avean stared at the floor, her eye still on the other man Alezand had called 'Marim'.

"May I get you something, Avean?", and upon her request he ordered another drink from the bar. He turned to Marim, "and you? it's on my tab." he ordered another ale for himself, and sat back down.

Jozlyn drank deeply, letting the strong meade warm him from the inside. Ah, nothing like a good ale to wipe the mind of coherent thoughts. It was obvious that Avean shared this view.

He sat there, pondering the days events. He laughed at the thought of the scene he witnessed with Avean and Rith back at the library. He could see that she was wondering what he was chuckling at.

Avean looked at him as he chuckled. "I know what your thinking..." she said, not smiling at all but sighing deeply, running her hand through her hair.

"Aye, nothing for me. I'm just too tired out. I have a lot of things on my mind. Firstly, Viktor Delacro. That deadly man has got the girl I love and he even killed my parents. He forced my girl to be his apprentice. I don't remember my parents at all and I don't hope to kill this man. There are things worse then death, no doubt. But of course, he is very evil. Resurrecting vampires and recruiting people like us are only the beginning of his plans. There is worse to come I expect,"said Marim.
He then turned to the girl and said,"Hello, I am Marim Mazmo of the Morytanians and you are......?"

"Aye that is sad. However, I, Alezand Jozlyn am of the legendary cult know as the Allaine. The Allaien were stewards of the peace, protectors of the people, rangers of the land. Their swords were sworn against evil, and they came from all over and of every race. And eventually Allaine developed powers like telekinisis and foresight. Unfortunatelly, Evil drove to destroy the Allaine, hunting them like dogs in the darker times of the world. Now I'm all thats left. And it's my destiny to restore the Allaine Order, and drive the evils of tis land. even now darkness creeps into Avaren. So I ask you, join with me. I shall pledge my blade to your cause, for your cause is my cause. What do you say, my fair man?"

"oh by the way, Avean, you may not know this, But Rith and I are old friends, grew up together. And I applaud you. You are kind, strong, and beautiful, and are a good friend it seems of Rith. Thus that makes you my friend. My loyalty I extend." Jozlyn raised his mug to the young mage.

"Aye, good sir. I am making a clan of my own to get rid of the chaos placed by Viktor Delacro. And I have already gathered up a fair number of people so I'll very well join with you too sir,"said Marim bowing low.
