Avean took the cup and sipped it lightly, her eyes now open and staring at Rith. She took his hand in hers and squeezed it, trying to get him happy again. Avean didn't want him to be sad for her little mishap.

He squeezed her hand back in kind, a smile brought to his face, allbeit a weak one from her act. "Even at times like this, she puts the feelings of others before herself." he thought to himself as he gently moved a few stray hairs from her face.

Avean smiled genuinly back up at him, trying to really cheer him up. "Please be happy...for me." she said, kissing him gentally on the cheek. "Please please pleeaasseee...." she pleaded, trying to make him smile.
