House of the Righteous and Noble Augustine

[David Augustine]

He moved his hand behind her head and held it. He kept her close for a few minutes and then put his arms down. He gave her another kiss and stood up from the couch. He stretched again and walked down the foyer and to the weaponry that was here. He pulled down the mounted sword and set it on the table. He then got a cloth and some water. He unsheathed the weapon and started to clean the sword's blade. It soon became bright and as if it was knew. It was an alternate version of his Lightbringer, but more powerful. He sheathed it again and started to clean the handle and scabbard. He equipped the weapon after he finished cleaning and looked around the room.

She kissed him back and watched him leave, she pulled her legs up to the couch, her knees to her chest as her heart continued to race. She closed her eyes and tried to block out the feeling it was bringing. Being of shadow...she shouldn't dealing with this...whatever it was.

[David Augustine]

He unsheathed the sword once again to examine it. It was quite interesting. One side of the blade had a white aura and the other side had a black aura. They seemed to stay on each side neither was stronger than the other. David put the sword back into it's scabbard. He walked over to where it was mounted and dusted away the dust that covered the area. A plaque read: "Sword of Light and Shadow."

David picked up the weapon and equiped it. He would have to train with this weapon soon. He grabbed a spear that was decent and closely resembled his old one. He strapped it to his back and walked back into the foyer.

She opened her eyes and listens to him work and such. She stared into the fire, she would need to make a journey to the dark city...she needed to gain herself back, the shadows were getting a bit...weak and she didn't know why and this angered her...she would not lose her shadows...it was the only reason David kept her around...so she thought.

[David Augustine]

He walked to the enterance of the sitting room. He gazed at the fire and then turned to look at Raven. She seemed to be deep in thought and worried about something. He didn't know how to handle this exactly. He decided to give it a shot. "Is there anything that you need?" he asked her.

She was broken from her thoughts and sighed softly, "I don't know." She looked up at him, she didn't hold any answers at the moment...all she knew was the dark city was all that could help her in this.

[David Augustine]

"Alright, I'll be in the mountains." David told her, "If you need anything, you can find me there." He walked up to her and gave her a kiss on the head. He ran his hand through her hair and then left the house on towards the mountains.

Raven sighed and watched him leave before getting up and gathering her things to head to the dark city, she hoped to find her answers there. She left the house and in the direction that would get her there quickest.

Several days had passed since David was away. He opened up the door to his mansion and looked around. It was clean as ever and more of the servants had returned. He smiled as he set his pack on the floor. He was glad to be home once again.

Raven walked in and looked around, she smiled a bit and sat on the couch and looked around. It looked the same as it had before, she ran her fingers through hair and sided a bit. Wondering what to do first.

[David Augustine]

David made his way up the stairs and down the hallway. He then stopped at two large double doors. He opened one and walked inside. He lit the lamps and candles and then worked on the fire in the fireplace that was there. Now that light was illuminating the room, it was clear that it was a library. Though not as large as the king's but still books upon books were on shelves inside of the walls. He then started skimming through book titles and set certain ones in a trolley that was near by.

Raven got up and took a bath before joining him in the library. She looked along side with him, she smiled a bit, finding this and that.

David placed one last book on the trolley and then looked up at her. He had already gone through about half of the library. "Well, these are the books that I have found so far that can help you." he told her, "I only hope that they will be able to."

She smiled and nodded, "I'm sure they will." She placed some other books on the trolly, glancing through the rest of the library, she would need to start tonight on reading and such.

[David Augustine]

"I will also look for a maiden to help you." David told her, "I think that would only be apropriate since you are staying here. I think that a hand maiden would be able to help assist you through out your studies and advancement." It was just a suggestion and whether she wanted one or not was up to her, but he couldn't see her doing this all by herself. He wasn't going to be around for her all the time as he had other priorities besides Raven.
